They said to Samuel,“ Don’t stop crying out to the Lord our God to help us. Keep praying that he’ll save us from the power of the Philistines.”

以色列人对撒母耳说：“愿你不住地为我们呼求耶和华我们的神，救我们脱离非利士人的手。”

以色列人对撒母耳说：“愿你不住为我们呼求耶和华—我们的上帝，救我们脱离非利士人的手。”

他们对撒母耳说：“请你为我们不停地呼求我们的上帝耶和华，求祂从非利士人手中拯救我们。”

以色列人对撒母耳说：“请你不要静默，为我们呼求耶和华我们的神吧，好叫他拯救我们脱离非利士人的手。”

以色列子民对撒母耳说：“请不要停止为我们向耶和华我们的神呼求，好使他拯救我们脱离非利士人的手。”

以色列人對撒母耳說：「願你不住地為我們呼求耶和華－我們的神，救我們脫離非利士人的手。」

以色列子民對撒母耳說：「請不要停止為我們向耶和華我們的神呼求，好使他拯救我們脫離非利士人的手。」

謂撒母耳曰、為我籲我上帝耶和華勿輟、俾援我於非利士人手、

請於撒母耳曰、為我呼籲耶和華不絕、俾得救我於非利士人手。

以色列人謂撒母耳曰、爾莫不為我呼籲主我之天主、救我於非利士人之手、

They said to Samuel,“ Do not stop crying out to the Lord our God for us, that he may rescue us from the hand of the Philistines.”

And the people of Israel said to Samuel,“ Do not cease to cry out to the Lord our God for us, that he may save us from the hand of the Philistines.”

“ Don’t stop pleading with the Lord our God to save us from the Philistines!” they begged Samuel.

The Israelites said to Samuel,“ Don’t stop crying out to the LORD our God for us, so that he will save us from the Philistines.”

So the sons of Israel said to Samuel,“ Do not stop crying out to the Lord our God for us, that He will save us from the hand of the Philistines!”

So the children of Israel said to Samuel,“ Do not cease to cry out to the Lord our God for us, that He may save us from the hand of the Philistines.”

And the children of Israel said to Samuel, Cease not to cry unto Jehovah our God for us, that he will save us out of the hand of the Philistines.

The Israelites said to Samuel,“ Don’t stop crying out to the Lord our God for us, so that He will save us from the hand of the Philistines.”

And the children of Israel said to Samuel, Cease not to cry unto the LORD our God for us, that he will save us out of the hand of the Philistines.

The Israelites said to Samuel,“ Keep crying out to the LORD our God so that he may save us from the hand of the Philistines!”

The children of Israel said to Samuel,“ Don’t stop crying to Yahweh our God for us, that he will save us out of the hand of the Philistines.”

Perhaps the Lord your God will hear everything the field commander has said. His master, the king of Assyria, has sent him to make fun of the living God. Maybe the Lord your God will punish him for what he has heard him say. So pray for the remaining people who are still alive here.’ ”

They said to Samuel,“ Pray to the Lord your God for us. Pray that we won’t die because we asked for a king. That was an evil thing to do. We added it to all our other sins.”“ Don’t be afraid,” Samuel replied.“ It’s true that you have done all these evil things. But don’t turn away from the Lord. Serve him with all your heart.Don’t turn away and worship statues of gods. They are useless. They can’t do you any good. They can’t save you either. They are completely useless.But the Lord will be true to his great name. He won’t turn his back on his people. That’s because he was pleased to make you his own people.I would never sin against the Lord by failing to pray for you. I’ll teach you to live in a way that is good and right.But be sure to have respect for the Lord. Serve him faithfully. Do it with all your heart. Think about the great things he has done for you.

So confess your sins to one another. Pray for one another so that you might be healed. The prayer of a godly person is powerful. Things happen because of it.

The Lord says,“ For the good of Zion I will not keep silent. For Jerusalem’s benefit I will not remain quiet. I will not keep silent until what I will do for them shines like the sunrise. I will not remain quiet until they are saved and shine like a blazing torch.

Jerusalem, I have stationed guards on your walls. They must never be silent day or night. You who call out to the Lord must not give yourselves any rest.And don’t give him any rest until he makes Jerusalem secure. Don’t give him any peace until people all over the earth praise that city.
