And the children of Israel said to Samuel, Cease not to cry unto Jehovah our God for us, that he will save us out of the hand of the Philistines.

以色列人对撒母耳说：“请你不要静默，为我们呼求耶和华我们的神吧，好叫他拯救我们脱离非利士人的手。”

以色列子民对撒母耳说：“请不要停止为我们向耶和华我们的神呼求，好使他拯救我们脱离非利士人的手。”

以色列人對撒母耳說：「願你不住地為我們呼求耶和華－我們的神，救我們脫離非利士人的手。」

以色列子民對撒母耳說：「請不要停止為我們向耶和華我們的神呼求，好使他拯救我們脫離非利士人的手。」

謂撒母耳曰、為我籲我上帝耶和華勿輟、俾援我於非利士人手、

請於撒母耳曰、為我呼籲耶和華不絕、俾得救我於非利士人手。

以色列人謂撒母耳曰、爾莫不為我呼籲主我之天主、救我於非利士人之手、

They said to Samuel,“ Do not stop crying out to the Lord our God for us, that he may rescue us from the hand of the Philistines.”

They said to Samuel,“ Don’t stop crying out to the Lord our God to help us. Keep praying that he’ll save us from the power of the Philistines.”

And the people of Israel said to Samuel,“ Do not cease to cry out to the Lord our God for us, that he may save us from the hand of the Philistines.”

“ Don’t stop pleading with the Lord our God to save us from the Philistines!” they begged Samuel.

The Israelites said to Samuel,“ Don’t stop crying out to the LORD our God for us, so that he will save us from the Philistines.”

So the sons of Israel said to Samuel,“ Do not stop crying out to the Lord our God for us, that He will save us from the hand of the Philistines!”

So the children of Israel said to Samuel,“ Do not cease to cry out to the Lord our God for us, that He may save us from the hand of the Philistines.”

The Israelites said to Samuel,“ Don’t stop crying out to the Lord our God for us, so that He will save us from the hand of the Philistines.”

And the children of Israel said to Samuel, Cease not to cry unto the LORD our God for us, that he will save us out of the hand of the Philistines.

The Israelites said to Samuel,“ Keep crying out to the LORD our God so that he may save us from the hand of the Philistines!”

The children of Israel said to Samuel,“ Don’t stop crying to Yahweh our God for us, that he will save us out of the hand of the Philistines.”

It may be Jehovah thy God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to defy the living God, and will rebuke the words which Jehovah thy God hath heard: wherefore lift up thy prayer for the remnant that is left.

And all the people said unto Samuel, Pray for thy servants unto Jehovah thy God, that we die not; for we have added unto all our sins this evil, to ask us a king.And Samuel said unto the people, Fear not: ye have indeed done all this evil; yet turn not aside from following Jehovah, but serve Jehovah with all your heart:and turn ye not aside; for then would ye go after vain things which cannot profit nor deliver, for they are vain.For Jehovah will not forsake his people for his great name’s sake, because it hath pleased Jehovah to make you a people unto himself.Moreover as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against Jehovah in ceasing to pray for you: but I will instruct you in the good and the right way.Only fear Jehovah, and serve him in truth with all your heart; for consider how great things he hath done for you.

Confess therefore your sins one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The supplication of a righteous man availeth much in its working.

For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until her righteousness go forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burneth.

I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that are Jehovah’s remembrancers, take ye no rest,and give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
