在昔斯民、特簡素所未識之上帝、於是戰鬥及於門內、當此之時以色列族四萬人中、欲求一干戈而不得。

今值麥秋、我呼籲耶和華、彼將使雷震雨降、令爾知爾欲立王、已干大戾於耶和華前。

告之曰、以色列族、尚聽之哉、爾今日攻敵臨戰、毋怯心、毋畏葸、毋恐懼、毋震驚、蓋爾上帝耶和華佑爾、為爾攻敵、以拯爾曹。

摩西以杖指天、耶和華使雷震電閃雹降、遍於埃及。其時電閃雹降、其災甚厲、自埃及肇基以來、未之見也。凡在田之人畜、無不被擊、田蔬悉傷、園木盡折、

上帝兮、涖彼海隅、波濤洶湧、深淵澎湃兮、雲行雨施、雷發穹蒼、電閃其間兮、狂飆飄颻、霹靂震轟、寰宇輝光、大地搖撼兮、

耶和華助巴勒、使敗西西喇車騎及眾、悉潰亂焉。西西喇棄車、徒行而遁。

火燎於前、以焚仇敵兮、電輝寰宇、人見而畏兮、

以晦冥為宮、以靉靆為幬兮、興雲而雨雹、電閃而炭燃兮。至上之耶和華、自天起雷、發其洪聲兮、電閃雹降、炭以之燃兮、電閃如矢、眾敵敗北兮、

耶和華論所羅把伯、云萬有之主耶和華曰、非以能力、乃以我神、

眾聲大作、雷轟電掣、地大震、自生民以來、未有如此大震者、大邑裂為三、異邦眾邑傾圮、上帝憶巴比倫大邑、怒甚、以鴆酒之杯賜飲、島嶼已無、山嶺盡失、天降大雹于人、各重一鈞、雹災既甚、人謗讟上帝矣、
