So the men of Kiriath Jearim came and took up the ark of the Lord. They brought it to Abinadab’s house on the hill and consecrated Eleazar his son to guard the ark of the Lord.

率眾往猶大之巴勒、欲舁上帝之匱至、匱前民籲居𠼻𡀔［口氷］間萬有之主耶和華。取上帝之匱、載於新車、御車者亞庇拿撻二子、一曰烏撒、一曰亞希阿、出亞庇拿撻之家、自山巔而下。亞希阿行於匱前。

其界環繞此山、由西及南、自伯和倫南之山、至基烈巴力即基列耶林、猶大族之邑、此其西隅。

大闢自埃及之西曷、至哈抹之道、招集以色列族、欲舁上帝之匱、自基列耶林而至。大闢率以色列族眾至猶大之把拉、即基列耶林、欲自彼舁耶和華上帝之匱、上帝居𠼻𡀔［口氷］間、即籲厥名之所。民取上帝之匱、載於新車、出亞庇拿撻家、烏撒、亞希阿御車。

爾曹選民、去巴比倫、勿居其中、勿捫污衊、凡攜耶和華之聖器者、當自潔其身、

遂遣人告基列耶林民曰、非利士人曾攜耶和華之匱至此、爾曹盍來、攜之以歸。
