So the men of Kiriath Jearim came and took up the ark of the Lord. They brought it to Abinadab’s house on the hill and consecrated Eleazar his son to guard the ark of the Lord.

这地界往西延伸，又转向南，从伯‧和仑南边对面的山，直通到犹大人的城基列‧巴力，基列‧巴力就是基列‧耶琳。这就是西边的地界。

于是，大卫把以色列众人从埃及的西曷河直到哈马口都召集了来，要从基列‧耶琳将上帝的约柜接来。大卫率领以色列众人上到巴拉，就是属犹大的基列‧耶琳，要将耶和华上帝的约柜从那里接上来，他坐在二基路伯之上，这约柜是以他的名来命名的。他们将上帝的约柜从亚比拿达的家里抬出来，放在新车上，由乌撒和亚希约赶车。

离开吧！离开吧！你们要从巴比伦出来。你们扛抬耶和华器皿的人哪，不要沾染不洁净之物，离去时务要保持洁净。

于是他们派使者到基列‧耶琳的居民那里，说：“非利士人将耶和华的约柜送回来了，你们下来将约柜接了，上到你们那里去吧！”
