何剛愎乃心、如埃及人與法老之剛愎乎、上帝行奇事於其間、彼豈非釋其民、使之往乎、

The Egyptians set out in pursuit— all Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen— and went into the sea after them.

God is wise and all-powerful. Who has opposed him and come out unharmed?

But encourage each other daily, while it is still called today, so that none of you is hardened by sin’s deception.

However, I have let you live for this purpose: to show you my power and to make my name known on the whole earth.

Because of your hardened and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath, when God’s righteous judgment is revealed.

Do not harden your hearts as at Meribah, as on that day at Massah in the wilderness

When the peoples hear, they will shudder; anguish will seize the inhabitants of Philistia.Then the chiefs of Edom will be terrified; trembling will seize the leaders of Moab; all the inhabitants of Canaan will panic;terror and dread will fall on them. They will be as still as a stone because of your powerful arm until your people pass by, LORD, until the people whom you purchased pass by.

He summoned Moses and Aaron during the night and said,“ Get out immediately from among my people, both you and the Israelites, and go, worship the LORD as you have said.Take even your flocks and your herds as you asked and leave, and also bless me.”Now the Egyptians pressured the people in order to send them quickly out of the country, for they said,“ We’re all going to die!”
