你們為什麼心裡剛硬，像埃及人和法老那樣心裡剛硬呢？當神折辱他們的時候，他們不是放走了以色列人嗎？以色列人不是離開了嗎？

何剛愎乃心、如埃及人與法老之剛愎乎、上帝行奇事於其間、彼豈非釋其民、使之往乎、

何剛愎乃心、效埃及人與法老所為乎。彼不釋以色列族、待降異災而後可。

何剛愎爾心、如伊及人與法老剛愎其心耶、伊及人不釋以色列人去、迨彼即天主在其間行奇跡降災、始釋之去、爾豈不知乎、

Why do you harden your hearts as the Egyptians and Pharaoh did? When Israel’s god dealt harshly with them, did they not send the Israelites out so they could go on their way?

我要使埃及人的心剛硬，他們會緊追不捨，跟著你們走進海底。我要在法老及其大軍、戰車和騎兵身上得到榮耀。

法老看見災難已經過去，便又硬著心，不肯聽從摩西和亞倫的話，正如耶和華所言。

法老卻仍然硬著心，不肯聽從摩西和亞倫，正如耶和華所言。

法老看見災禍停止，就又犯罪，他和他的臣僕都心裡頑固。

摩西和亞倫便進宮去見法老，對他說：「希伯來人的上帝耶和華說，『你要到什麼時候才肯在我面前謙卑下來，讓我的子民離開這裡去事奉我？

這一次，法老又硬著心，不肯讓百姓離開埃及。

法老的軍兵車馬緊追不捨，都跟著下到海中。

祂充滿智慧，能力無比，誰能抗拒祂還可平安無恙？

趁著還有今日，要天天互相勸勉，免得有人被罪迷惑，心裡變得剛硬。

我讓你活到現在，是為了向你彰顯我的權能，使我的名傳遍天下。

你這樣硬著心不肯悔改等於是為自己積蓄烈怒，上帝的烈怒在祂施行公義審判的那天必臨到你。

不可像你們祖先在米利巴，在曠野的瑪撒那樣心裡頑固。

各邦各族聽見這些事就發抖，非利士人也痛苦不堪，以東的族長惶恐，摩押的英雄顫慄，迦南的居民都膽戰心驚。驚駭恐懼籠罩著他們。耶和華啊，你臂膀的大能嚇得他們僵立如石，直到你的子民都安然走過，直到你買贖的子民都安然走過。

法老連夜召見摩西和亞倫，對他們說：「你們和以色列人走吧，離開我的人民。就照你們的要求，去事奉耶和華吧！照你們的要求，把所有的牛羊都帶走吧！也要為我祝福。」埃及人催促以色列人趕快離開埃及，因為他們說：「我們都要死了。」
