幽暗未至、爾足未躓於晦冥之山、所望之光、未變為死亡之陰翳、深沈之昏黑以先、當歸榮於爾上帝耶和華、

運至之後、耶和華之手擊其邑、使大擾亂、其人無論尊卑、悉被擊、咸生痔、

乃大聲曰、宜畏上帝而榮歸之、蓋其鞫時至矣、亦宜拜造天地海及水源者、○

爾干罪於爾上帝耶和華、奔馳諸路、在諸綠樹之下、崇事他神、不從我言、當自認爾罪、耶和華言之矣、

論埃及之預示、○耶和華乘雲、迅臨埃及、埃及之偶像、必震動於其前、埃及之人民喪膽、

蝗至埃及、止於四境、其災甚厲、若斯之蝗、先世後世、未之有也、蝗蔽於地、地因而晦冥、田蔬及雹擊所遺之木實、悉為所食、埃及通國、林木田蔬、青葱之物、無復遺餘、

是時也、地大震、邑圮十分之一、死者七千人、餘皆恐懼、歸榮於在天之上帝、○

蚱蜢蝗蟲、蝻蝗蟿螽、我所遣至爾中之大軍、數年所食者、我將償之、

爾之責罰、尚其免之、爾手搏擊、我則消滅兮、

對上帝云、爾之作為、何其可畏、因爾大能、仇敵服於爾兮、

人為酷熱所曝、遂謗讟掌此諸災上帝之名、又弗改悔、而以榮歸之、○

耶和華如言而行、遂有羣蠅為災、入法老宮庭、及羣臣第宅、埃及遍地、俱受其害、○

耶和華諭摩西曰、當命亞倫云、執爾杖、伸手於江河池沼、使蛙上於埃及地、

乃遵命而行、亞倫執杖、伸手以擊塵土、遂有蚋附於人畜之身、埃及通國之塵土、悉化為蚋、

彼聞我名、立即歸順、外族之人服從兮、

是夜我將巡行埃及、擊其長子、與羣畜首生者、而罰埃及諸神、我乃耶和華、

時埃及人喪其長子、為耶和華所擊者、彼之諸神、耶和華亦譴之、

萬軍之耶和華曰、如爾不聽、不置於心、歸榮我名、我必降詛於爾、詛爾福祉、我已詛之、以爾不置於心也、
