They replied,“ If you send the ark of Israel’s God away, do not send it without an offering. Send back a guilt offering to him, and you will be healed. Then the reason his hand hasn’t been removed from you will be revealed.”

他们回答：“你们把以色列神的约柜送回去的时候，不可空空地把它送回去，却要偿还赔罪的礼物，这样，你们就可以得着医治，也可以知道，为什么他的手没有离开你们。”

他们回答：“如果你们要送回以色列神的约柜，不要空手送回，一定要把赔罪的礼物带给以色列的神。这样你们就可以痊愈，也知道为什么他的手不离开你们。”

他們說：『若要將以色列上帝的櫃送走，你們不可空空送去，總要將賠罪禮物還給他，然後能得醫好，也能知道他的手為甚麼沒有離開你們。』

他們回答：「如果你們要送回以色列神的約櫃，不要空手送回，一定要把賠罪的禮物帶給以色列的神。這樣你們就可以痊癒，也知道為什麼他的手不離開你們。」

曰、如欲遣以色列上帝之匱、勿使徒去、必獻補過之祭、乃可得醫、且知其手不離於爾之故、

They answered,“ If you return the ark of the god of Israel, do not send it back to him without a gift; by all means send a guilt offering to him. Then you will be healed, and you will know why his hand has not been lifted from you.”

They said,“ If you send away the ark of the God of Israel, do not send it empty, but by all means return him a guilt offering. Then you will be healed, and it will be known to you why his hand does not turn away from you.”

“ Send the Ark of the God of Israel back with a gift,” they were told.“ Send a guilt offering so the plague will stop. Then, if you are healed, you will know it was his hand that caused the plague.”

And they said,“ If you are going to send the ark of the God of Israel away, do not send it empty; but you shall certainly return to Him a guilt offering. Then you will be healed, and it will be revealed to you why His hand does not leave you.”

So they said,“ If you send away the ark of the God of Israel, do not send it empty; but by all means return it to Him with a trespass offering. Then you will be healed, and it will be known to you why His hand is not removed from you.”

And they said, If ye send away the ark of the God of Israel, send it not empty; but by all means return him a trespass- offering: then ye shall be healed, and it shall be known to you why his hand is not removed from you.

They replied,“ If you send the ark of Israel’s God away, you must not send it without an offering. You must send back a restitution offering to Him, and you will be healed. Then the reason His hand hasn’t been removed from you will be revealed.”

And they said, If ye send away the ark of the God of Israel, send it not empty; but in any wise return him a trespass offering: then ye shall be healed, and it shall be known to you why his hand is not removed from you.

They replied,“ If you are going to send the ark of the God of Israel back, don’t send it away empty. Be sure to return it with a guilt offering. Then you will be healed, and you will understand why his hand is not removed from you.”

They said,“ If you send away the ark of the God of Israel, don’t send it empty; but by all means return a trespass offering to him. Then you will be healed, and it will be known to you why his hand is not removed from you.”

Then watch: If it goes up the road to its homeland toward Beth-shemesh, it is the LORD who has made this terrible trouble for us. However, if it doesn’t, we will know that it was not his hand that punished us— it was just something that happened to us by chance.”

Observe the Festival of Unleavened Bread. As I commanded you, you are to eat unleavened bread for seven days at the appointed time in the month of Abib, because you came out of Egypt in that month. No one is to appear before me empty-handed.

“ All your males are to appear three times a year before the LORD your God in the place he chooses: at the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks, and the Festival of Shelters. No one is to appear before the LORD empty-handed.

You may redeem the firstborn of a donkey with a sheep, but if you do not redeem it, break its neck. You must redeem all the firstborn of your sons. No one is to appear before me empty-handed.

“ Now this is the law of the guilt offering; it is especially holy.The guilt offering is to be slaughtered at the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered, and the priest is to splatter its blood on all sides of the altar.The offerer is to present all the fat from it: the fat tail, the fat surrounding the entrails,and the two kidneys with the fat on them at the loins; he will also remove the fatty lobe of the liver with the kidneys.The priest will burn them on the altar as a food offering to the LORD; it is a guilt offering.Any male among the priests may eat it. It is to be eaten in a holy place; it is especially holy.“ The guilt offering is like the sin offering; the law is the same for both. It belongs to the priest who makes atonement with it.

I will say to God,“ Do not declare me guilty! Let me know why you prosecute me.

After they had moved it, the LORD’s hand was against the city of Gath, causing a great panic. He afflicted the people of the city, from the youngest to the oldest, with an outbreak of tumors.

Suppose someone says to God,“ I have endured my punishment; I will no longer act wickedly.Teach me what I cannot see; if I have done wrong, I won’t do it again.”

When the people of Ashdod saw what was happening, they said,“ The ark of Israel’s God must not stay here with us, because his hand is strongly against us and our god Dagon.”

Then he is to bring his guilt offering to the LORD: an unblemished ram from the flock according to your assessment of its value as a guilt offering to the priest.

He must bring his penalty for guilt for the sin he has committed to the LORD: a female lamb or goat from the flock as a sin offering. In this way the priest will make atonement on his behalf for his sin.

The Ekronites called all the Philistine rulers together. They said,“ Send the ark of Israel’s God away. Let it return to its place so it won’t kill us and our people!” For the fear of death pervaded the city; God’s hand was oppressing them.

“ If someone offends by sinning unintentionally in regard to any of the LORD’s holy things, he must bring his penalty for guilt to the LORD: an unblemished ram from the flock( based on your assessment of its value in silver shekels, according to the sanctuary shekel) as a guilt offering.He is to make restitution for his sin regarding any holy thing, adding a fifth of its value to it, and give it to the priest. Then the priest will make atonement on his behalf with the ram of the guilt offering, and he will be forgiven.“ If someone sins and without knowing it violates any of the LORD’s commands concerning anything prohibited, he is guilty, and he will bear his iniquity.He must bring an unblemished ram from the flock according to your assessment of its value as a guilt offering to the priest. Then the priest will make atonement on his behalf for the error he has committed unintentionally, and he will be forgiven.It is a guilt offering; he is indeed guilty before the LORD.”
