伯．示麦人说：“在耶和华这位圣洁的神面前，谁能站立得住呢？他可以从我们这里上到哪里去呢？”

伯示麦人说：“谁能在这位圣洁的神耶和华面前站立得住呢？应该请他离开我们上谁那里去呢？”

伯‧示麥人說：「誰能在耶和華這聖潔的神面前侍立呢？這約櫃可以從我們這裏送到誰那裏去呢？」

伯‧示麥人說：「誰能在耶和華這位聖潔的上帝面前侍立呢？這約櫃可以從我們這裏上到誰那裏去呢？」

伯示麥人曰、主天主至聖、誰能立於其前、匱離我儕當往誰之所乎、

And the people of Beth Shemesh asked,“ Who can stand in the presence of the Lord, this holy God? To whom will the ark go up from here?”

The people of Beth Shemesh said,“ The Lord is a holy God. Who can stand in front of him? Where can the ark go up to from here?”

Then the men of Beth-shemesh said,“ Who is able to stand before the Lord, this holy God? And to whom shall he go up away from us?”

“ Who is able to stand in the presence of the Lord, this holy God?” they cried out.“ Where can we send the Ark from here?”

The people of Beth-shemesh asked,“ Who is able to stand in the presence of the LORD this holy God? To whom should the ark go from here?”

And the men of Beth Shemesh said,“ Who is able to stand before this holy Lord God? And to whom shall it go up from us?”

And the men of Beth- shemesh said, Who is able to stand before Jehovah, this holy God? and to whom shall he go up from us?

The men of Beth-shemesh asked,“ Who is able to stand in the presence of this holy Lord God? Who should the ark go to from here?”

And the men of Bethshemesh said, Who is able to stand before this holy LORD God? and to whom shall he go up from us?

The residents of Beth Shemesh asked,“ Who is able to stand before the LORD, this holy God? To whom will the ark go up from here?”

The men of Beth Shemesh said,“ Who is able to stand before Yahweh, this holy God? To whom shall he go up from us?”

So David was afraid of the Lord that day; and he said,“ How can the ark of the Lord come to me?”

“ But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire, and like launderer’s soap.

for the great day of Their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”

You, You indeed are to be feared, And who may stand in Your presence, once You are angry?

So they sent word and gathered all the governors of the Philistines to them, and said,“ What shall we do with the ark of the God of Israel?” And they said,“ Have the ark of the God of Israel brought to Gath.” So they took the ark of the God of Israel away.After they had taken it away, the hand of the Lord was against the city, creating a very great panic; and He struck the people of the city, from the young to the old, so that tumors broke out on them.So they sent the ark of God to Ekron. And as the ark of God came to Ekron, the Ekronites cried out, saying,“ They have brought the ark of the God of Israel to us, to kill us and our people!”Therefore they sent word and gathered all the governors of the Philistines, and said,“ Send away the ark of the God of Israel and let it return to its own place, so that it will not kill us and our people!” For there was a deadly panic throughout the city; the hand of God was very heavy there.And the people who did not die were struck with tumors, and the outcry of the city went up to heaven.

Then the sons of Israel spoke to Moses, saying,“ Behold, we are passing away, we are perishing, we are all perishing!Everyone who comes near, who comes near to the tabernacle of the Lord, must die. Are we to perish completely?”

Then David became angry because of the Lord’s outburst against Uzza; and he called that place Perez uzza as it is to this day.David was afraid of God that day, saying,“ How can I bring the ark of God home to me?”So David did not take the ark with him to the city of David, but took it aside to the house of Obed edom the Gittite.

And all the people of the territory of the Gerasenes and the surrounding region asked Him to leave them, because they were overwhelmed by great fear; and He got into a boat and returned.

But when Simon Peter saw this, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying,“ Go away from me, Lord, for I am a sinful man!”

For I am the Lord who brought you up from the land of Egypt, to be your God; so you shall be holy, because I am holy.’ ”

And the anger of the Lord burned against Uzzah, and God struck him down there for his irreverence; and he died there by the ark of God.
