When the people of Ashdod rose early the next day, there was Dagon, fallen on his face on the ground before the ark of the Lord! They took Dagon and put him back in his place.

The people of Ashdod got up early the next day. They saw the statue of Dagon. There it was, lying on the ground! It had fallen on its face in front of the ark of the Lord. So they picked up the statue of Dagon. They put it back in its place.

And when the people of Ashdod rose early the next day, behold, Dagon had fallen face downward on the ground before the ark of the Lord. So they took Dagon and put him back in his place.

But when the citizens of Ashdod went to see it the next morning, Dagon had fallen with his face to the ground in front of the Ark of the Lord! So they took Dagon and put him in his place again.

When the people of Ashdod got up early the next morning, there was Dagon, fallen with his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD. So they took Dagon and returned him to his place.

彼勒屈伏，尼波屈蹲，它们的像驮在走兽和牲畜上。你们所抬的成了重负，成了疲乏牲畜的负载。它们一同屈蹲、屈伏，不但不能保全负载，连自己也被掳去了。

有关埃及的默示：看哪，耶和华乘驾飞快的云，即将临到埃及！埃及的偶像将在他面前颤抖，埃及人都心融胆丧。

他们把神像抬起，扛在肩上，又把它安置就位；它就在那里呆立不动。尽管人向它呼求，它也不回应，更不能救人脱离患难。

他用剩下的一半做了一个神像，就是他雕刻的偶像，然后向它俯伏下拜，又向它祷告，说：“求你救我，因为你是我的神。”这样的人不明白，也不领悟，因为耶和华蒙蔽他们的眼使他们不能看见，蒙蔽他们的心使他们不能明悟。他们不反思，也没有知识和聪慧来说：“我用一半的木头烧火，又在火炭上烘饼，烤肉吃。我怎么能用剩下的木头制造可憎之物呢？我怎么能向一块木头膜拜呢？”他们追求的只是灰烬；他们的心受了迷惑，使他们偏离正道；他们不能救自己，也不会说：“我右手中的，难道不是虚谎之物吗？”

你们不可与不信的人同负一轭。公义和罪恶到底有什么相通呢？光明与黑暗有什么相合呢？基督与彼列有什么相融呢？信的与不信的有什么关系呢？神的圣所与偶像有什么相同呢？要知道，我们是永生神的圣所，正如神所说：“我将要在他们中间居住，在他们中间往来；我将要做他们的神，他们将要做我的子民。”

愿一切服事雕刻偶像、以无用的偶像夸耀的，都蒙羞辱；一切的神明啊，你们都当向他下拜！

匠人鼓励工匠，用锤子打平金属的鼓励用锤子打砧的，论到焊接的说：“焊得好！”他们又用钉子把偶像钉稳，使它不会摇动。

耶稣对他们说：“我看见撒旦像闪电一样从天上坠落。看，我已经给了你们权柄去践踏蛇和蝎子，又胜过仇敌一切的势力，绝不会有什么能伤害你们了。但不要因为邪灵服从了你们就欢喜，要因为你们的名字已经被记录在天上而欢喜。”

那穷得供奉不起的人，就挑选不会朽坏的木头，为自己寻找巧匠，立起不会摇动的偶像。

污灵每当见到耶稣，就俯伏在他面前，喊叫说：“你是神的儿子！”
