你看吧，日子必到，我必把你的膀臂、和你父的家的膀臂砍下來，使你家中沒有一個老年人。你在患難中必以羨慕的眼看我使以色列人所享的一切福，而在你家中卻永遠沒有一個老年人。

所有過路的人都拍掌嘲笑你；他們都向耶路撒冷小姐嗤笑搖頭說；『難道人所稱為十全十美、全地所喜悅的、就是這城麼？』你的仇敵都抿着嘴來調弄你；他們嗤笑着又切齒着，說：『我們吞滅了她了！啊！這正是我們所盼望的日子呀！我們得到了！我們看到了！』永恆主成就了他所計畫的，實行了他威嚴的話，就是他古時所命定的；他翻毁了，並不顧惜；他使你仇敵因勝過你而喜悅，使你敵人的角高舉。向永恆主哀叫哦！錫安小姐啊，悲歎哦！願你眼淚直流如河，黑夜白日不讓休息，不讓你眼停止流淚。夜間每到交更時分，你要起來喊求，在主面前傾心如水！你的孩童在各街頭受餓發昏，你要為他們的性命向主舉手禱告。

於是摩西對亞倫說：『這就是永恆主告訴我們說的：「在親近我的人中間、我要顯為聖；在各族之民面前、我要得榮耀。」』亞倫默默無言。

因為這為你的殿之熱心把我燒得急死了；而辱罵你的辱罵都落到我身上來了。

人終日不斷地譏笑我說：『你的上帝在哪裏？』我便晝夜不住地流眼淚當飯喫。

故此你們中間有許多軟弱的、患病的；長眠了的也有好些。但我們如果常察辨自己，就不至於受審判了。然而若受主審判，乃是受主懲罰管教，免得跟世人一同受定罪。

永恆主啊，我喜愛你所住的殿，你榮耀之帳幕的所在。
