The man said to Eli,“ I’m the one who came from the battle. I fled from there today.”“ What happened, my son?” Eli asked.

那人对以利说：“我是从军阵中来的，我今天刚从军阵中逃出来。”以利就问：“我儿，情况怎么样？”

那人對以利說：「我是從陣上來的，今日我從陣上逃回。」以利說：「我兒，事情怎樣？」

那人對以利說：「我是從戰場上來的，今日剛從戰場上逃回來。」以利說：「我兒，事情怎樣了？」

那人對以利說：「我是從戰場上來的，今日剛從戰場上逃回來。」以利說：「我兒，事情怎樣了？」

報信的人對以利說：「我今天是從戰場逃回來的。」以利問：「我的孩子，情況怎麼樣？」

那人告訴以利：“我是從戰場上來的，今天從戰場上逃回來。”以利問：“我兒，事情怎麼樣？”

那人對以利說：『我是從陣上來的；今天我從陣上逃跑了。』以利說：『我兒啊，事情怎麼樣了？』

那人對以利說：「我是從軍陣中來的，我今天剛從軍陣中逃出來。」以利就問：「我兒，情況怎麼樣？」

其人曰、我乃自陳而來、今日自陳而逃、曰、吾子、其事若何、

其人曰、我今日自行伍間遁逃而至、曰吾子與、可知其詳乎。

其人謂以利曰、我自陣而來、今日自陣逃遁而至、以利曰、我子、其事若何、

He told Eli,“ I have just come from the battle line; I fled from it this very day.” Eli asked,“ What happened, my son?”

The man told Eli,“ I’ve just come from the front lines of the battle. I just ran away from there today.” Eli asked,“ What happened, son?”

And the man said to Eli,“ I am he who has come from the battle; I fled from the battle today.” And he said,“ How did it go, my son?”

He said to Eli,“ I have just come from the battlefield— I was there this very day.”“ What happened, my son?” Eli demanded.

The man said to Eli,“ I’m the one who came from the battle. I fled from there today.”“ What happened, my son?” Eli asked.

The man said to Eli,“ I am the one who came from the battle line. Indeed, I escaped from the battle line today.” And he said,“ How are things, my son?”

Then the man said to Eli,“ I am he who came from the battle. And I fled today from the battle line.” And he said,“ What happened, my son?”

And the man said unto Eli, I am he that came out of the army, and I fled to- day out of the army. And he said, How went the matter, my son?

And the man said unto Eli, I[ am] he that came out of the army, and I fled to day out of the army. And he said, What is there done, my son?

The man said to Eli,“ I am the one who came from the battle lines! Just today I fled from the battle lines!” Eli asked,“ How did things go, my son?”

The man said to Eli,“ I am he who came out of the army, and I fled today out of the army.” He said,“ How did the matter go, my son?”

“ What was the outcome? Tell me,” David asked him.“ The troops fled from the battle,” he answered.“ Many of the troops have fallen and are dead. Also, Saul and his son Jonathan are dead.”

Once again the Lord called,“ Samuel!” Samuel got up, went to Eli, and said,“ Here I am; you called me.”“ I didn’t call, my son,” he replied.“ Go back and lie down.”

So Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, give glory to the Lord, the God of Israel, and make a confession to Him. I urge you, tell me what you have done. Don’t hide anything from me.”
