Then David said to Abiathar the priest, the son of Ahimelech,“ Please bring me the ephod.” So Abiathar brought the ephod to David.

大衛謂祭司亞希米勒子亞比亞他曰、請攜聖衣至、亞比亞他遂攜之至、

謂祭司亞希米勒子亞庇亞塔曰、請攜公服以至。亞庇亞塔攜公服至。

Then David said to Abiathar the priest, the son of Ahimelek,“ Bring me the ephod.” Abiathar brought it to him,

Then David spoke to Abiathar the priest, the son of Ahimelek. He said,“ Bring me the linen apron.” Abiathar brought it to him.

And David said to Abiathar the priest, the son of Ahimelech,“ Bring me the ephod.” So Abiathar brought the ephod to David.

Then he said to Abiathar the priest,“ Bring me the ephod!” So Abiathar brought it.

David said to the priest Abiathar son of Ahimelech,“ Bring me the ephod.” So Abiathar brought it to him,

Then David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech’s son,“ Please bring the ephod here to me.” And Abiathar brought the ephod to David.

And David said to Abiathar the priest, the son of Ahimelech, I pray thee, bring me hither the ephod. And Abiathar brought thither the ephod to David.

David said to Abiathar the priest, son of Ahimelech,“ Bring me the ephod.” So Abiathar brought it to him,

Then David said to the priest Abiathar son of Ahimelech,“ Bring me the ephod.” So Abiathar brought the ephod to David.

David said to Abiathar the priest, the son of Ahimelech,“ Please bring the ephod here to me.” Abiathar brought the ephod to David.

But one son of Ahimelech the son of Ahitub, named Abiathar, escaped and fled to David.Abiathar informed David that Saul had killed the priests of the Lord.

So David inquired of the Lord, saying,“ Shall I go and attack these Philistines?” And the Lord said to David,“ Go and attack the Philistines and save Keilah.”But David’s men said to him,“ Behold, we are fearful here in Judah. How much more then if we go to Keilah against the ranks of the Philistines?”So David inquired of the Lord once more. And the Lord answered him and said,“ Arise, go down to Keilah, for I am going to hand the Philistines over to you.”Then David and his men went to Keilah and fought the Philistines; and he drove away their livestock and struck them with a great slaughter. So David saved the inhabitants of Keilah.Now it came about, when Abiathar the son of Ahimelech fled to David at Keilah, that he came down with an ephod in his hand.When it was reported to Saul that David had come to Keilah, Saul said,“ God has handed him over to me, for he shut himself in by entering a city with double gates and bars.”So Saul summoned all the people for war, to go down to Keilah to besiege David and his men.But David knew that Saul was plotting evil against him; so he said to Abiathar the priest,“ Bring the ephod here.”

Then to Abiathar the priest the king said,“ Go to Anathoth to your own field, for you deserve to die; but I will not put you to death at this time, because you carried the ark of the Lord God before my father David, and because you were afflicted in everything with which my father was afflicted.”
