So that with good courage we say,“ The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh.

I will bless Yahweh at all times. His praise will always be in my mouth.My soul shall boast in Yahweh. The humble shall hear of it and be glad.Oh magnify Yahweh with me. Let’s exalt his name together.I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.They looked to him, and were radiant. Their faces shall never be covered with shame.This poor man cried, and Yahweh heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.Yahweh’s angel encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.

I believed, therefore I said,“ I was greatly afflicted.”

Besides hope, Abraham in hope believed, to the end that he might become a father of many nations, according to that which had been spoken,“ So will your offspring be.”

Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. Selah.Surely men of low degree are just a breath, and men of high degree are a lie. In the balances they will go up. They are together lighter than a breath.

I waited patiently for Yahweh. He turned to me, and heard my cry.He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay. He set my feet on a rock, and gave me a firm place to stand.

Therefore they took up stones to throw at him, but Jesus was hidden, and went out of the temple, having gone through the middle of them, and so passed by.

Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him, the saving help of my countenance, and my God.

But all the congregation threatened to stone them with stones. Yahweh’s glory appeared in the Tent of Meeting to all the children of Israel.

But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation. If we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer.

Deep calls to deep at the noise of your waterfalls. All your waves and your billows have swept over me.

Yahweh, my strength, and my stronghold, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the nations will come to you from the ends of the earth, and will say,“ Our fathers have inherited nothing but lies, vanity and things in which there is no profit.

Behold, he will kill me. I have no hope. Nevertheless, I will maintain my ways before him.
