David replied,“ No, my brothers, you must not do that with what the Lord has given us. He has protected us and delivered into our hands the raiding party that came against us.

But David said,“ No, my brothers! Don’t be selfish with what the Lord has given us. He has kept us safe and helped us defeat the band of raiders that attacked us.

But David said,“ My brothers, you must not do this with what the LORD has given us. He protected us and handed over to us the raiders who came against us.

You drove out the nations with your hand, but you planted them. Command victories for Jacob!Through you, will we push down our adversaries. David inquired of Yahweh, saying,“ If I pursue after this troop, will I overtake them?” He answered him,“ Pursue; for you will surely overtake them, and will without fail recover all.”

Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all! In your hand is power and might! It is in your hand to make great, and to give strength to all!Now therefore, our God, we thank you, and praise your glorious name.But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come from you, and we have given you of your own.
