Then said David, Ye shall not do so, my brethren, with that which the LORD hath given us, who hath preserved us, and delivered the company that came against us into our hand.

大卫说：“弟兄们，这一切是耶和华赐给我们的，我们不可不分给他们，因为是耶和华保护我们，把敌人交在了我们手里。

大卫说：“兄弟们，耶和华赐给我们的，你们不可以这样作。他保护了我们，又把那些攻击我们的匪徒交在我们手里。

但大卫说：“我的兄弟们，你们不可这样处理耶和华所赐给我们的，他保守了我们，把那些来攻击我们的匪徒交在我们手中。

大衛說：「弟兄們，耶和華所賜給我們的，不可不分給他們；因為他保佑我們，將那攻擊我們的敵軍交在我們手裏。

大衛說：「我的弟兄，耶和華所賜給我們的，你們不可這麼做，因為他保佑了我們，把那羣來攻擊我們的人交在我們手裏。

大衛說：「弟兄們，這一切是耶和華賜給我們的，我們不可不分給他們，因為是耶和華保護我們，把敵人交在了我們手裡。

大衛說：“兄弟們，耶和華賜給我們的，你們不可以這樣作。他保護了我們，又把那些攻擊我們的匪徒交在我們手裡。

大衛說：『弟兄們，永恆主所賜給我們的、你們不可這樣處理；他怎樣保守我們，將那來攻擊我們的匪幫交在我們手裏。

但大衛說：「我的兄弟們，你們不可這樣處理耶和華所賜給我們的，他保守了我們，把那些來攻擊我們的匪徒交在我們手中。

大衛曰、兄弟乎、耶和華既輔翼我、以敵軍付於我手、其所賜之物、勿若是以行、

大闢曰、兄弟乎、耶和華既輔翼於我、以敵軍付於我手、故所得之物、勿若是以行。

大衛曰、兄弟乎、主既以此物賜我、且護我、以敵軍付於我手、不可如此行、

David replied,“ No, my brothers, you must not do that with what the Lord has given us. He has protected us and delivered into our hands the raiding party that came against us.

David replied,“ No, my friends. You must not hold back their share of what the Lord has given us. He has kept us safe. He has handed over to us the men who attacked us.

But David said,“ You shall not do so, my brothers, with what the Lord has given us. He has preserved us and given into our hand the band that came against us.

But David said,“ No, my brothers! Don’t be selfish with what the Lord has given us. He has kept us safe and helped us defeat the band of raiders that attacked us.

But David said,“ My brothers, you must not do this with what the LORD has given us. He protected us and handed over to us the raiders who came against us.

But David said,“ You must not do so, my brothers, with what the Lord has given us, for He has protected us and handed over to us the band of raiders that came against us.

But David said,“ My brethren, you shall not do so with what the Lord has given us, who has preserved us and delivered into our hand the troop that came against us.

Then said David, Ye shall not do so, my brethren, with that which Jehovah hath given unto us, who hath preserved us, and delivered the troop that came against us into our hand.

But David said,“ My brothers, you must not do this with what the Lord has given us. He protected us and handed over to us the raiders who came against us.

But David said,“ No! You shouldn’t do this, my brothers. Look at what the LORD has given us! He has protected us and has delivered into our hands the raiding party that came against us.

Then David said,“ Do not do so, my brothers, with that which Yahweh has given to us, who has preserved us, and delivered the troop that came against us into our hand.

But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for[ it is] he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as[ it is] this day.

And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.

And the man, the master of the house, went out unto them, and said unto them, Nay, my brethren,[ nay], I pray you, do not[ so] wickedly; seeing that this man is come into mine house, do not this folly.

Men, brethren, and fathers, hear ye my defence[ which I make] now unto you.

[ How] thou didst drive out the heathen with thy hand, and plantedst them;[ how] thou didst afflict the people, and cast them out.For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.Thou art my King, O God: command deliverances for Jacob.Through thee will we push down our enemies: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us.For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me.But thou hast saved us from our enemies, and hast put them to shame that hated us.

The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

And he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran,

When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the LORD thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.

And they said unto Moses, Thy servants have taken the sum of the men of war which[ are] under our charge, and there lacketh not one man of us.We have therefore brought an oblation for the LORD, what every man hath gotten, of jewels of gold, chains, and bracelets, rings, earrings, and tablets, to make an atonement for our souls before the LORD.And Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold of them,[ even] all wrought jewels.And all the gold of the offering that they offered up to the LORD, of the captains of thousands, and of the captains of hundreds, was sixteen thousand seven hundred and fifty shekels.([ For] the men of war had taken spoil, every man for himself.)And Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold of the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and brought it into the tabernacle of the congregation,[ for] a memorial for the children of Israel before the LORD.

The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.

Therefore they sacrifice unto their net, and burn incense unto their drag; because by them their portion[ is] fat, and their meat plenteous.

And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake[ them], and without fail recover[ all].

Both riches and honour[ come] of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand[ is] power and might; and in thine hand[ it is] to make great, and to give strength unto all.Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.But who[ am] I, and what[ is] my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things[ come] of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.
