David replied,“ No, my brothers, you must not do that with what the Lord has given us. He has protected us and delivered into our hands the raiding party that came against us.

But David said,“ My brothers, you must not do this with what the LORD has given us. He protected us and handed over to us the raiders who came against us.

你要记念耶和华你的神，因为得财富的能力是他赐给你的，为要坚定他向你的列祖起誓所立的约，像今天一样。

说：“我的弟兄们，请不要作恶。

那房主出来见他们，对他们说：“我的众兄弟啊，不可这样，请你们不要作恶；这人既然进了我的家，你们就不要作这羞耻的事。

“各位父老弟兄，请听听我现在对你们的申辩。”

耶和华要保护你脱离一切灾祸，他要保护你的性命。你出你入，耶和华要保护你，从现在直到永远。

司提反说：“各位父老兄弟请听！我们的祖宗亚伯拉罕，在美索不达米亚，还没有住在哈兰的时候，荣耀的神向他显现，

对摩西说：“你仆人手下作战的士兵，已经计算总数，没有缺少一人。现在我们把耶和华的供物，都送来了，就是我们各人所得的金器、脚链子、镯子、打印戒指、耳环、手钏，好在耶和华面前，为我们自己赎罪。”摩西和以利亚撒祭司就收了他们的金子，就是各样金子做成的器皿。千夫长和百夫长献给耶和华为举祭的一切金子，共有两百多公斤。士兵都各自夺取了财物。摩西和以利亚撒祭司就从千夫长和百夫长手中收了金子，把它带进会幕里去，在耶和华面前作以色列人的记念。

耶和华使人贫穷，也使人富足；使人降卑，也使人升高。

向自己的网献祭，对鱼网烧香，因他们藉此收获丰富，饮食充裕。

大卫求问耶和华说：“我可以追赶这群匪徒吗？我可以追上他们吗？”耶和华回答他：“你可以追赶，你必定追上，也必定把一切救回来。”

富足和尊荣都从你而来，你也统治万有。在你的手里有力量和权能；人的尊大、强盛都是出于你的手。我们的神啊，现在我们要称颂你，赞美你荣耀的名。我算什么？我的人民又算什么？竟有力量这样乐意奉献？因为万物都是从你而来，我们只是把从你手里得来的，奉献给你。
