既至、見亞瑪力人徧布於地、飲食舞蹈、因在非利士地、及猶大境、攘奪貨財甚多故也、

He led David down, and there they were, scattered over the countryside, eating, drinking and reveling because of the great amount of plunder they had taken from the land of the Philistines and from Judah.

He led David down to where the men were. They were scattered all over the countryside. They were eating and drinking and dancing wildly. That’s because they had taken a large amount of goods from those they had attacked. They had taken it from the land of the Philistines and from the people of Judah.

And when he had taken him down, behold, they were spread abroad over all the land, eating and drinking and dancing, because of all the great spoil they had taken from the land of the Philistines and from the land of Judah.

So he led David to them, and they found the Amalekites spread out across the fields, eating and drinking and dancing with joy because of the vast amount of plunder they had taken from the Philistines and the land of Judah.

So he led him, and there were the Amalekites, spread out over the entire area, eating, drinking, and celebrating because of the great amount of plunder they had taken from the land of the Philistines and the land of Judah.

Now when he had brought him down, behold, they were dispersed over all the land, eating and drinking and celebrating because of all the great plunder that they had taken from the land of the Philistines and from the land of Judah.

So he took David down, and they found them spread out over the land. They were eating and drinking and enjoying themselves because of all the loot they had taken from the land of the Philistines and from the land of Judah.

When he had brought him down, behold, they were spread around over all the ground, eating, drinking, and dancing, because of all the great plunder that they had taken out of the land of the Philistines, and out of the land of Judah.

押沙龙吩咐仆人说：“你们注意，暗嫩开怀畅饮的时候，我对你们说击杀暗嫩，你们就杀他。不要惧怕，这不是我吩咐你们的吗？你们要刚强，作勇士！”

人正说平安稳定的时候，灾祸忽然临到他们，如同阵痛临到怀胎的妇人一样，他们绝逃脱不了。

住在地上的人会因他们而欢喜快乐，互相馈送礼物，因为这两位先知曾使住在地上的人受痛苦。过了这三天半，有生命的气息从神那里进入他们里面，他们就站起来；看见他们的人都大大惧怕。两位先知听见有大声音从天上对他们说：“上这里来。”他们就驾着云上了天，他们的仇敌也看见了。正在那时候，地大震动，城倒塌了十分之一；因地震而死的有七千人，其余的都恐惧，归荣耀给天上的神。

那时，人又吃又喝，又娶又嫁，直到挪亚进方舟的那日，洪水就来，把他们全都灭了。同样，就像在罗得的日子，人又吃又喝，又买又卖，又耕种又建造，到罗得离开所多玛的那日，有火与硫磺从天上降下来，把他们全都灭了。

伯沙撒王为他的一千大臣摆设盛筵，与这一千人饮酒。伯沙撒在欢饮之间，吩咐人将他父尼布甲尼撒从耶路撒冷圣殿所掳掠的金银器皿拿来，好使王与大臣、王后、妃嫔用这器皿饮酒。于是他们把圣殿，就是耶路撒冷神殿中所掳掠的金器皿拿来，王和大臣、王后、妃嫔就用这器皿饮酒。他们饮酒，赞美金、银、铜、铁、木、石造的神明。

探子看见一个人从城里出来，就对他说：“请你把进城的路指示我们，我们会厚待你。”那人把进城的路指示他们。他们就用刀击杀了城中的居民，却放走那人和他的全家。

他对他们说：“耶和华—以色列的神这样说：‘你们各人把刀佩在腰间，从这门到那门，来回走遍全营，各人要杀自己的弟兄、邻舍和亲人。’”利未人遵照摩西的话做了。那一天百姓中倒下的约有三千人。

我们侵夺了基利提的南方和属犹大的地，以及迦勒地的南方，又用火烧了洗革拉。”

亚比该到拿八那里，看哪，他在家里摆设宴席，如同王的宴席。拿八心情舒畅，酩酊大醉。所以亚比该大小事都没有告诉他，直等到早晨天亮的时候。到了早晨，拿八酒醒了，他的妻子把这些事都告诉他，他就发心脏病快死了，僵如石头。过了十天，耶和华击打拿八，他就死了。

看哪，人却欢喜快乐，宰牛杀羊，吃肉喝酒：“让我们吃吃喝喝吧！因为明天要死了。”

次日清早，百姓起来献燔祭和平安祭，就坐下吃喝，起来玩乐。

恶人欢乐的声音是暂时的，不敬虔人的喜乐不过是转眼之间。

然后要对我自己说：你这个人哪，你有许多财物积存，可供多年享用，只管安安逸逸吃喝快乐吧！’神却对他说：‘无知的人哪！今夜就要你的性命，你所预备的要归谁呢？’

非利士人的领袖聚集，要向他们的神明大衮献大祭，并且庆祝，说：“我们的神明把我们的仇敌参孙交在我们手中了。”众人看见参孙，就赞美他们的神明说：“我们的神明把那毁坏我们的地、杀害我们许多人的仇敌交在我们手中了。”他们心里高兴的时候，就说：“叫参孙来，逗我们欢乐。”于是他们把参孙从监狱里提出来，在他们面前戏耍。他们叫他站在两根柱子中间。参孙对牵他手的僮仆说：“让我摸摸支撑这庙宇的柱子，我要靠一靠。”那时庙宇内充满男女，非利士人的众领袖也都在那里，屋顶上约有三千男女观看参孙逗他们欢乐。参孙求告耶和华说：“主耶和华啊，求你眷念我。神啊，就这一次，求你赐给我力量，使我向非利士人报那挖我双眼的仇。”参孙抱住中间支撑庙宇的两根柱子，左手抱一根，右手抱一根。然后他说：“让我与非利士人一起死吧！”他尽力弯腰，庙宇就倒塌了，压住领袖和庙宇内的众人。这样，参孙死的时候所杀的人比活着所杀的还多。

“你们要谨慎，免得被贪食、醉酒和今生的忧虑压住你们的心，那日子就忽然临到你们，如同罗网一样，因为那日子要临到所有居住在地面上的人。

约书亚一听见百姓呼喊的声音，就对摩西说：“在营里有战争的声音。”摩西说：“这不是打胜仗的声音，也不是打败仗的声音，我听见的是歌唱的声音。”摩西走近营前，看见牛犊，又看见人在跳舞，就发烈怒，把两块版从手中扔到山下摔碎了。
