『你去招聚書珊所找得着的一切猶大人為我禁食，不喫不喝三天，就是三晝三夜；我也這樣，我和我的侍女也要禁食；這樣，我就不照法令進去見王；我若死，就死罷。』

永恆主安排了一條大魚把約拿吞下去；約拿在魚腹中三日三夜。

疲乏的、他賜能力；無氣力的、他給增加力量。就是少年人也會疲乏困倦，強壯人也會力盡而倒地；但那等候永恆主的、必從新得力；他們必如鷹展翅上騰；他們奔跑，也不困倦，他們行走，也不疲乏。
