于是神在利希使一洼地裂开，就有水从那里涌出来；参孙喝了，就恢复精神，活力充足；因此那泉名叫隐．哈歌利（“隐．哈歌利”意即“呼求者之泉”），那泉直到今日还在利希。

约拿单没有听见他父亲叫众民所起的誓，所以伸出手中的杖，用杖头蘸在蜂房里，转手送进口里，他的眼睛就明亮了。

“大人，我们想起那个骗子，生前说过：‘三天之后，我要复活。’

大卫问他：“你是属谁的？你从哪里来？”他回答：“我是个埃及的青年人，是亚玛力人的奴仆。因为我三天前病了，我的主人就把我丢弃了。

“你要去，把书珊城所有的犹大人都召集起来，为我禁食三天，就是三日三夜不吃不喝；我和我的婢女也要这样禁食。然后我就违例进去见王；我若是死，就死吧。”

耶和华却安排了一条大鱼，把约拿吞下。约拿就在鱼腹中三日三夜。（本节在《马索拉文本》为2:1）

疲乏的，他赐气力，无力的，他加力量。就是年轻人也会疲乏困倦，强壮的人也会全然跌倒。但那些仰望耶和华的人，必重新得力；他们必像鹰一样展翅上腾；他们奔跑，也不困倦，他们行走，也不疲乏。
