“你要吩咐以色列人，把点灯用的榨成的纯净橄榄油，拿来给你，使灯火长燃。在会幕中法柜的幔子外，亚伦要使这灯在耶和华面前通宵达旦地长燃；这是你们世世代代永远的律例。亚伦要不断地在耶和华面前，整理纯金灯台（“金灯台”或译：“洁净的灯台”）上的灯。

“你要吩咐以色列民把打成的纯橄榄油拿来给你，是为点灯用的，使灯常常点着。在会幕中法柜前的幔子外，亚伦和他的子孙，从晚上到早晨，要常在耶和华面前料理这灯。这要作以色列人世世代代的定例。”

至于我，我必凭着你丰盛的慈爱，进入你的殿；我要存着敬畏你的心，向你的圣所敬拜。

有一件事我求过耶和华，我还要寻求；我要一生一世住在耶和华的殿里，瞻仰他的荣美，在他的殿中求问。

耶和华的声音惊动母鹿生产，使林中的树木光秃凋零；凡是在他殿中的都说：“荣耀啊！”

因为耶和华使哈拿不能怀孕，她的对头就尽力刺激她，使她苦恼。

亚伦要在坛上烧香料做的香，每天早晨整理灯的时候，要烧这香。傍晚，亚伦点灯的时候，也要烧这香，在耶和华面前作你们世世代代不断的香。

他们每日早晚向耶和华献燔祭，焚烧芬芳的香；在清洁的桌子上摆上陈设饼；每天晚上燃点金灯台的灯盏；我们谨守耶和华我们的神的吩咐，你们却离弃了他。
