The Lord will deliver both Israel and you into the hands of the Philistines, and tomorrow you and your sons will be with me. The Lord will also give the army of Israel into the hands of the Philistines.”

So Saul took his sword and fell on it.When his armor bearer saw that Saul was dead, he also fell on his own sword and died with him.So Saul, his three sons, his armor bearer, and all his men died together that day.

But if you continue to do evil, both you and your king will be swept away.”

So the LORD says,‘ I will most assuredly remove you from the face of the earth. You will die this very year because you have counseled rebellion against the LORD.’”In the seventh month of that very same year the prophet Hananiah died.

When Ananias heard these words he collapsed and died, and great fear gripped all who heard about it.
