“ Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?” Samuel asked Saul.“ I’m in serious trouble,” replied Saul.“ The Philistines are fighting against me and God has turned away from me. He doesn’t answer me anymore, either through the prophets or in dreams. So I’ve called on you to tell me what I should do.”

撒母耳对扫罗说：“你为什么搅扰我，招我上来呢？”扫罗回答说：“我甚窘急；因为非利士人攻击我，神也离开我，不再藉先知或梦回答我。因此请你上来，好指示我应当怎样行。”

撒母耳对扫罗说：“你为什么搅扰我，招我上来呢？”扫罗说：“我十分为难，因为非利士人攻击我，上帝离开我，不再藉先知或梦回答我。因此请你上来，好指示我应当怎样做。”

撒母耳对扫罗说：“你为什么打扰我，招我上来呢？”扫罗答道：“我深陷困境，非利士人与我们交战，上帝也撇弃了我，不再借着先知或梦来回答我。因此，我只好招你上来，好告诉我该怎么办。”

撒母耳对扫罗说：“你为什么搅扰我，把我招上来呢？”扫罗说：“我非常苦恼，非利士人正在攻打我，神又离开了我，不再藉着先知或异梦回答我。所以我请你上来，指示我应该怎样行。”

撒母耳问扫罗：“你为什么搅扰我，招我上来呢？”扫罗回答：“我面临极大的危难：非利士人与我争战，神也离开了我，不再藉着先知或梦回应我。所以我召唤你来、指示我该怎么做。”

撒母耳對掃羅說：「你為甚麼攪擾我，招我上來呢？」掃羅回答說：「我甚窘急；因為非利士人攻擊我，神也離開我，不再藉先知或夢回答我。因此請你上來，好指示我應當怎樣行。」

撒母耳對掃羅說：“你為甚麼攪擾我，把我招上來呢？”掃羅說：“我非常苦惱，非利士人正在攻打我，神又離開了我，不再藉著先知或異夢回答我。所以我請你上來，指示我應該怎樣行。”

撒母耳對掃羅說：『你為甚麼攪擾我，把我招上來？』掃羅說：『我非常困難；非利士人對我作戰，上帝又離開我，不再由神言人經手、也不再藉着夢來回答我；因此我請你來指示我該怎樣行。』

撒母耳問掃羅：「你為什麼攪擾我，招我上來呢？」掃羅回答：「我面臨極大的危難：非利士人與我爭戰，神也離開了我，不再藉著先知或夢回應我。所以我召喚你來、指示我該怎麼做。」

撒母耳謂掃羅曰、爾何擾我、使我上耶、掃羅曰、我甚窘急、非利士人將與我戰、上帝離我、不以先知與夢答我、故招爾至、示我以所當行、

撒母耳謂掃羅曰、爾何擾我、招我上來乎、掃羅曰、我甚窘急、非利士人攻我、天主離我、不復藉先知與夢以答我、故招爾上來、欲爾示我當行何事、

Samuel said to Saul,“ Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?”“ I am in great distress,” Saul said.“ The Philistines are fighting against me, and God has departed from me. He no longer answers me, either by prophets or by dreams. So I have called on you to tell me what to do.”

Samuel said to Saul,“ Why have you troubled me by bringing me up from the dead?”“ I’m having big problems,” Saul said.“ The Philistines are fighting against me. God has left me. He doesn’t answer me anymore. He doesn’t speak to me through prophets or dreams. So I’ve called on you to tell me what to do.”

Then Samuel said to Saul,“ Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?” Saul answered,“ I am in great distress, for the Philistines are warring against me, and God has turned away from me and answers me no more, either by prophets or by dreams. Therefore I have summoned you to tell me what I shall do.”

“ Why have you disturbed me by calling me back?” Samuel asked Saul.“ Because I am in deep trouble,” Saul replied.“ The Philistines are at war with me, and God has left me and won’t reply by prophets or dreams. So I have called for you to tell me what to do.”

“ Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?” Samuel asked Saul.“ I’m in serious trouble,” replied Saul.“ The Philistines are fighting against me and God has turned away from me. He doesn’t answer me anymore, either through the prophets or in dreams. So I’ve called on you to tell me what I should do.”

And Samuel said to Saul,“ Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?” Saul replied,“ I am very distressed, for the Philistines are waging war against me, and God has abandoned me and no longer answers me, either through prophets or in dreams; therefore I have called you, so that you may let me know what I should do.”

Now Samuel said to Saul,“ Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?” And Saul answered,“ I am deeply distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God has departed from me and does not answer me anymore, neither by prophets nor by dreams. Therefore I have called you, that you may reveal to me what I should do.”

And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do.

And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? Samuel said to Saul,“ Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?” Saul replied,“ I am terribly troubled! The Philistines are fighting against me and God has turned away from me. He does not answer me– not by the prophets nor by dreams. So I have called on you to tell me what I should do.”

Samuel said to Saul,“ Why have you disturbed me, to bring me up?” Saul answered,“ I am very distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God has departed from me, and answers me no more, by prophets, or by dreams. Therefore I have called you, that you may make known to me what I shall do.”

He inquired of the Lord, but the Lord did not answer him in dreams or by the Urim or by the prophets.

And being in torment in Hades, he looked up and saw Abraham a long way off, with Lazarus at his side.‘ Father Abraham!’ he called out,‘ Have mercy on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this flame!’“‘ Son,’ Abraham said,‘ remember that during your life you received your good things, just as Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here, while you are in agony.Besides all this, a great chasm has been fixed between us and you, so that those who want to pass over from here to you cannot; neither can those from there cross over to us.’

Saul was afraid of David, because the Lord was with David but had left Saul.

So Samuel took the horn of oil, anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and the Spirit of the Lord took control of David from that day forward. Then Samuel set out and went to Ramah.Now the Spirit of the Lord had left Saul, and an evil spirit sent from the Lord began to torment him,

The disloyal one will get what his conduct deserves, and a good man, what his deeds deserve.

“ Who is it that you want me to bring up for you?” the woman asked.“ Bring up Samuel for me,” he answered.

When David learned that Saul was plotting evil against him, he said to Abiathar the priest,“ Bring the ephod.”Then David said,“ Lord God of Israel, Your servant has heard that Saul intends to come to Keilah and destroy the town because of me.

Saul disguised himself by putting on different clothes and set out with two of his men. They came to the woman at night, and Saul said,“ Consult a spirit for me. Bring up for me the one I tell you.”

Then she cried,“ Samson, the Philistines are here!” When he awoke from his sleep, he said,“ I will escape as I did before and shake myself free.” But he did not know that the Lord had left him.

Then He will also say to those on the left,‘ Depart from Me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the Devil and his angels!

So David inquired of the Lord:“ Should I launch an attack against these Philistines?” The Lord answered David,“ Launch an attack against the Philistines and rescue Keilah.”

Have you not brought this on yourself by abandoning the Lord your God while He was leading you along the way?Now what will you gain by traveling along the way to Egypt to drink the waters of the Nile? What will you gain by traveling along the way to Assyria to drink the waters of the Euphrates?

Even if they raise children, I will bereave them of each one. Yes, woe to them when I depart from them!

At the end of your life, you will lament when your physical body has been consumed,and you will say,“ How I hated discipline, and how my heart despised correction.I didn’t obey my teachers or listen closely to my mentors.

Do not banish me from Your presence or take Your Holy Spirit from me.

Once again, David inquired of the Lord, and the Lord answered him:“ Go at once to Keilah, for I will hand the Philistines over to you.”
