When Achish asked,“ Where did you go raiding today?” David would say,“ Against the Negev of Judah” or“ Against the Negev of Jerahmeel” or“ Against the Negev of the Kenites.”

Achish would ask,“ Who did you attack today?” David would answer,“ The people who live in the Negev Desert of Judah.” Or he would answer,“ The people in the Negev Desert of Jerahmeel.” Or he would answer,“ The people in the Negev Desert of the Kenites.”

When Achish asked,“ Where have you made a raid today?” David would say,“ Against the Negeb of Judah,” or,“ Against the Negeb of the Jerahmeelites,” or,“ Against the Negeb of the Kenites.”

“ Where did you make your raid today?” Achish would ask. And David would reply,“ Against the south of Judah, the Jerahmeelites, and the Kenites.”

who inquired,“ Where did you raid today?” David replied,“ The south country of Judah,”“ The south country of the Jerahmeelites,” or“ The south country of the Kenites.”

Now Achish said,“ Where did you carry out an attack today?” And David said,“ Against the Negev of Judah, against the Negev of the Jerahmeelites, and against the Negev of the Kenites.”

Then Achish would say,“ Where have you made a raid today?” And David would say,“ Against the southern area of Judah, or against the southern area of the Jerahmeelites, or against the southern area of the Kenites.”

And Achish said, Against whom have ye made a raid to- day? And David said, Against the South of Judah, and against the South of the Jerahmeelites, and against the South of the Kenites.

那時忽有使者來見掃羅說：“請你趕快回去，因為非利士人來突擊這地。”

以撒問：“你真是我的兒子以掃嗎？”他回答：“我是。”

虛偽是我憎恨厭惡的，你的律法卻是我所愛的。

押沙龍的臣僕到這家來見那婦人，問她：“亞希瑪斯和約拿單在哪裡？”那婦人回答他們說：“他們已經過了河了。”於是臣僕搜索他們，卻沒有找著，就都回耶路撒冷去了。

願基尼人希伯的妻子雅億，比眾婦女更有福氣，比住在帳棚的婦女更有福氣。

巴蘭看見了基尼人，就作歌，說：“你的居所堅固，你的窩巢建在磐石中；

但那女人已把那兩個人藏起來，還這樣回答王：“不錯，那些人到過我這裡來，但是，我不知道他們是從哪裡來的。天黑、城門快要關的時候，那些人出去了；我不知道他們到哪裡去。你們快去追趕，必可以追上他們。”其實她領他們上了屋頂，把他們藏在堆放在屋頂的麻稭裡面。

掃羅又對基尼人說：“你們走吧！離開亞瑪力人下去吧！免得我把你們與他們一同消滅。因為以色列眾人從埃及上來的時候，你們曾經以慈愛待他們。”於是基尼人離開亞瑪力人去了。

大衛對亞希米勒祭司說：“王吩咐我作一件事，對我說：‘我差派你，吩咐你去辦的這事，你不要讓任何人知道，我已經指示我的僕人在某地會面。’

懼怕人的，必陷入網羅；倚靠耶和華的，必得安全。

求你使我離開虛謊的路，施恩把你的律法賜給我。

所以，你們要除掉謊言，各人要與鄰舍說真話，因為我們彼此是肢體。
