Then Abishai said to David,“ Today God has handed your enemy over to you; now then, please let me pin him with the spear to the ground with one thrust, and I will not do it to him a second time.”

亚比筛对大卫说：“今天神把你的仇敌交在你手中了。现在，请让我用长矛把他一枪刺透在地，不用第二枪。”

亞比篩對大衛說：「現在神將你的仇敵交在你手裏，求你容我拿槍將他刺透在地，一刺就成，不用再刺。」

亞比篩對大衛說：「現在上帝把你的敵人交在你手中了，讓我一矛把他釘在地上，決不用刺第二下。」

亞比篩對大衛說：“今天神把你的仇敵交在你手裡了。現在求你容我用矛把他刺透在地上，一刺就夠，不必再刺。”

亞比篩對大衛說：『今天上帝將你的仇敵送交在你手裏；現在請容我拿矛將他刺透在地上：一刺就成，不用再刺。』

亞比篩對大衛說：「今天神把你的仇敵交在你手中了。現在，請讓我用長矛把他一槍刺透在地，不用第二槍。」

亞比篩謂大衛曰、今日上帝以敵付於爾手、許我以戟擊之、釘之於地、一擊而已、毋庸再擊、

亞庇篩告大闢曰、今日上帝以敵付於爾手、容我擊之、釘之於地、一擊已足、毋庸再擊。

亞比篩謂大衛曰、今日天主以敵付於爾手、容我以槍擊之、釘之於地、惟當一擊、不須再擊、

Abishai said to David,“ Today God has delivered your enemy into your hands. Now let me pin him to the ground with one thrust of the spear; I won’t strike him twice.”

Abishai said to David,“ Today God has handed your enemy over to you. So let me pin him to the ground. I can do it with one jab of the spear. I won’t even have to strike him twice.”

Then Abishai said to David,“ God has given your enemy into your hand this day. Now please let me pin him to the earth with one stroke of the spear, and I will not strike him twice.”

“ God has surely handed your enemy over to you this time!” Abishai whispered to David.“ Let me pin him to the ground with one thrust of the spear; I won’t need to strike twice!”

Then Abishai said to David,“ Today God has delivered your enemy to you. Let me thrust the spear through him into the ground just once. I won’t have to strike him twice!”

Then Abishai said to David,“ God has delivered your enemy into your hand this day. Now therefore, please, let me strike him at once with the spear, right to the earth; and I will not have to strike him a second time!”

Then said Abishai to David, God hath delivered up thine enemy into thy hand this day: now therefore let me smite him, I pray thee, with the spear to the earth at one stroke, and I will not smite him the second time.

Then Abishai said to David,“ Today God has handed your enemy over to you. Let me thrust the spear through him into the ground just once. I won’t have to strike him twice!”

Then said Abishai to David, God hath delivered thine enemy into thine hand this day: now therefore let me smite him, I pray thee, with the spear even to the earth at once, and I will not[ smite] him the second time.

Abishai said to David,“ Today God has delivered your enemy into your hands. Now let me drive the spear right through him into the ground with one swift jab! A second jab won’t be necessary!”

Then Abishai said to David,“ God has delivered up your enemy into your hand today. Now therefore please let me strike him with the spear to the earth at one stroke, and I will not strike him the second time.”

Then David’s men said to him,“ Behold, this is the day of which the Lord said to you,‘ Behold; I am about to hand your enemy over to you, and you shall do to him as it seems good to you.’ ” Then David got up and cut off the edge of Saul’s robe secretly.

And the Lord will repay each man for his righteousness and his faithfulness; for the Lord handed you over to me today, but I refused to reach out with my hand against the Lord’s anointed.

You have declared today that you have done good to me, that the Lord handed me over to you and yet you did not kill me.Though if a man finds his enemy, will he let him go away unharmed? May the Lord therefore reward you with good in return for what you have done to me this day.

David stayed in the wilderness in the strongholds, and remained in the hill country in the wilderness of Ziph. And Saul searched for him every day, but God did not hand him over to him.

Judah went up, and the Lord handed over to them the Canaanites and the Perizzites, and they defeated ten thousand men at Bezek.

And the Lord gave them rest on every side, in accordance with everything that He had sworn to their fathers, and no one of all their enemies stood before them; the Lord handed all their enemies over to them.

How could one chase a thousand, And two put ten thousand to flight, Unless their Rock had sold them, And the Lord had given them up?

But the Scripture has confined everyone under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.But before faith came, we were kept in custody under the Law, being confined for the faith that was destined to be revealed.

And You have not handed me over to the enemy; You have set my feet in a large place.

Whatever you devise against the Lord, He will make a complete end of it. Distress will not rise up twice.

For God has shut up all in disobedience, so that He may show mercy to all.
