Then said Abishai to David, God hath delivered up thine enemy into thy hand this day: now therefore let me smite him, I pray thee, with the spear to the earth at one stroke, and I will not smite him the second time.

亞比篩對大衛說：「今天神把你的仇敵交在你手中了。現在，請讓我用長矛把他一槍刺透在地，不用第二槍。」

亞比篩謂大衛曰、今日上帝以敵付於爾手、許我以戟擊之、釘之於地、一擊而已、毋庸再擊、

亞庇篩告大闢曰、今日上帝以敵付於爾手、容我擊之、釘之於地、一擊已足、毋庸再擊。

亞比篩謂大衛曰、今日天主以敵付於爾手、容我以槍擊之、釘之於地、惟當一擊、不須再擊、

Abishai said to David,“ Today God has delivered your enemy into your hands. Now let me pin him to the ground with one thrust of the spear; I won’t strike him twice.”

Abishai said to David,“ Today God has handed your enemy over to you. So let me pin him to the ground. I can do it with one jab of the spear. I won’t even have to strike him twice.”

Then Abishai said to David,“ God has given your enemy into your hand this day. Now please let me pin him to the earth with one stroke of the spear, and I will not strike him twice.”

“ God has surely handed your enemy over to you this time!” Abishai whispered to David.“ Let me pin him to the ground with one thrust of the spear; I won’t need to strike twice!”

Then Abishai said to David,“ Today God has delivered your enemy to you. Let me thrust the spear through him into the ground just once. I won’t have to strike him twice!”

Then Abishai said to David,“ Today God has handed your enemy over to you; now then, please let me pin him with the spear to the ground with one thrust, and I will not do it to him a second time.”

Then Abishai said to David,“ God has delivered your enemy into your hand this day. Now therefore, please, let me strike him at once with the spear, right to the earth; and I will not have to strike him a second time!”

Then Abishai said to David,“ Today God has handed your enemy over to you. Let me thrust the spear through him into the ground just once. I won’t have to strike him twice!”

Then said Abishai to David, God hath delivered thine enemy into thine hand this day: now therefore let me smite him, I pray thee, with the spear even to the earth at once, and I will not[ smite] him the second time.

Abishai said to David,“ Today God has delivered your enemy into your hands. Now let me drive the spear right through him into the ground with one swift jab! A second jab won’t be necessary!”

Then Abishai said to David,“ God has delivered up your enemy into your hand today. Now therefore please let me strike him with the spear to the earth at one stroke, and I will not strike him the second time.”

And the men of David said unto him, Behold, the day of which Jehovah said unto thee, Behold, I will deliver thine enemy into thy hand, and thou shalt do to him as it shall seem good unto thee. Then David arose, and cut off the skirt of Saul’s robe privily.

And Jehovah will render to every man his righteousness and his faithfulness; forasmuch as Jehovah delivered thee into my hand to- day, and I would not put forth my hand against Jehovah’s anointed.

And thou hast declared this day how that thou hast dealt well with me, forasmuch as when Jehovah had delivered me up into thy hand, thou killedst me not.For if a man find his enemy, will he let him go well away? wherefore Jehovah reward thee good for that which thou hast done unto me this day.

And David abode in the wilderness in the strongholds, and remained in the hill- country in the wilderness of Ziph. And Saul sought him every day, but God delivered him not into his hand.

And Judah went up; and Jehovah delivered the Canaanites and the Perizzites into their hand: and they smote of them in Bezek ten thousand men.

And Jehovah gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; Jehovah delivered all their enemies into their hand.

How should one chase a thousand, And two put ten thousand to flight, Except their Rock had sold them, And Jehovah had delivered them up?

But the scripture shut up all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.But before faith came, we were kept in ward under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.

And thou hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy; Thou hast set my feet in a large place.

What do ye devise against Jehovah? he will make a full end; affliction shall not rise up the second time.

For God hath shut up all unto disobedience, that he might have mercy upon all.
