Then answered David and said to Ahimelech the Hittite, and to Abishai the son of Zeruiah, brother to Joab, saying, Who will go down with me to Saul to the camp? And Abishai said, I will go down with thee.

David then asked Ahimelek the Hittite and Abishai son of Zeruiah, Joab’s brother,“ Who will go down into the camp with me to Saul?”“ I’ll go with you,” said Abishai.

Then David spoke to Ahimelek, the Hittite. He also spoke to Joab’s brother Abishai, the son of Zeruiah. He asked them,“ Who will go down with me into the camp to Saul?”“ I’ll go with you,” said Abishai.

Then David said to Ahimelech the Hittite, and to Joab’s brother Abishai the son of Zeruiah,“ Who will go down with me into the camp to Saul?” And Abishai said,“ I will go down with you.”

“ Who will volunteer to go in there with me?” David asked Ahimelech the Hittite and Abishai son of Zeruiah, Joab’s brother.“ I’ll go with you,” Abishai replied.

Then David asked Ahimelech the Hethite and Joab’s brother Abishai son of Zeruiah,“ Who will go with me into the camp to Saul?”“ I’ll go with you,” answered Abishai.

Then David said to Ahimelech the Hittite and to Abishai the son of Zeruiah, Joab’s brother, saying,“ Who will go down with me to Saul in the camp?” And Abishai said,“ I will go down with you.”

Then David answered, and said to Ahimelech the Hittite and to Abishai the son of Zeruiah, brother of Joab, saying,“ Who will go down with me to Saul in the camp?” And Abishai said,“ I will go down with you.”

Then David answered and said to Ahimelech the Hittite, and to Abishai the son of Zeruiah, brother of Joab, saying,“ Who will go down with me to Saul to the camp?” Abishai said,“ I will go down with you.”

But if thou fear to go down, go thou with Phurah thy servant down to the host:And thou shalt hear what they say; and afterward shall thine hands be strengthened to go down unto the host. Then went he down with Phurah his servant unto the outside of the armed men that[ were] in the host.

And there were three sons of Zeruiah there, Joab, and Abishai, and Asahel: and Asahel[ was as] light of foot as a wild roe.

And the king commanded Joab and Abishai and Ittai, saying,[ Deal] gently for my sake with the young man,[ even] with Absalom. And all the people heard when the king gave all the captains charge concerning Absalom.

Uriah the Hittite: thirty and seven in all.

And Jonathan said to the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over unto the garrison of these uncircumcised: it may be that the LORD will work for us: for[ there is] no restraint to the LORD to save by many or by few.And his armourbearer said unto him, Do all that[ is] in thine heart: turn thee; behold, I[ am] with thee according to thy heart.

Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the LORD, to do evil in his sight? thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife[ to be] thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon.

And the shooters shot from off the wall upon thy servants; and[ some] of the king’s servants be dead, and thy servant Uriah the Hittite is dead also.

And David sent to Joab,[ saying], Send me Uriah the Hittite. And Joab sent Uriah to David.

Then said Abishai the son of Zeruiah unto the king, Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king? let me go over, I pray thee, and take off his head.And the king said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeruiah? so let him curse, because the LORD hath said unto him, Curse David. Who shall then say, Wherefore hast thou done so?

Ozem the sixth, David the seventh:Whose sisters[ were] Zeruiah, and Abigail. And the sons of Zeruiah; Abishai, and Joab, and Asahel, three.

And Abishai, the brother of Joab, the son of Zeruiah, was chief among three. And he lifted up his spear against three hundred,[ and] slew[ them], and had the name among three.

Who smote Abimelech the son of Jerubbesheth? did not a woman cast a piece of a millstone upon him from the wall, that he died in Thebez? why went ye nigh the wall? then say thou, Thy servant Uriah the Hittite is dead also.
