The Lord rewards everyone for their righteousness and faithfulness. The Lord delivered you into my hands today, but I would not lay a hand on the Lord’s anointed.

The Lord rewards everyone for doing what is right and being faithful. He handed you over to me today. But I wouldn’t harm you. You are the Lord’ s anointed king.

永恆主為萬族之民行裁判；永恆主啊，求你按我的理直按我心中的純全為我申正義。願惡人的壞事絕止；願你使義人堅立着，察驗人心腸的公義上帝啊。

但我絕對不伸手去害永恆主所膏立的；現在你只要將他頭旁的矛和水罐拿來，我們就走。』

就對跟隨的人說：『他既是永恆主所膏立的，我絕對不對我主上、不對永恆主所膏立的行這事，來伸手攻擊他。』說了這話，大衛才勸阻跟隨的人，不讓他們起來害掃羅。掃羅起來，出了洞，走他的路去了。
