以色列王之出、乃索躍蚤、如人獵鶉於山、今願勿使我血、流於遠耶和華之地、

我細猶虱、以色列王出而索我、如人往山追鷓鴣、願耶和華祐我、不致我血流於地。

今求爾莫在主前流我血於地、原文作今願我血不在主前流於地以色列王出追者、不過一跳蚤耳、亦如人追一鷓鴣於山焉、

Now do not let my blood fall to the ground far from the presence of the Lord. The king of Israel has come out to look for a flea— as one hunts a partridge in the mountains.”

以色列王出來要追捕誰呢？你要追趕誰呢？不過一條死狗、一隻虼蚤罷了。

他必保護他堅貞之民的腳步，使惡人在黑暗中消滅死寂；因為人得勝、不是靠着勢力。

當那時候耶穌對羣眾說：『你們出來，帶着刀棒要捉拿我，如同拿強盜麼？我天天坐在殿裏教訓人，你們並沒有抓住我呀！

雖有人起來追逼你、尋索你性命，我主的性命卻在永恆主你的上帝那裏包在活人的寶貝包裏；惟獨你仇敵的性命、永恆主卻要甩去，像在機弦窩中甩出去一樣。

耶穌說着話的時候，那十二人中的一個、猶大、來了；有一大羣人帶着刀棒，從祭司長和民間的長老那裏、跟他一同來。
