Now therefore, please let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If it is so that Yahweh has stirred you up against me, let him accept an offering. But if it is the children of men, they are cursed before Yahweh; for they have driven me out today that I shouldn’t cling to Yahweh’s inheritance, saying,‘ Go, serve other gods!’

求我主我王听仆人的话：若是耶和华激发你攻击我，愿耶和华收纳祭物；若是人激发你，愿他在耶和华面前受咒诅；因为他现今赶逐我，不容我在耶和华的产业上有份，说：‘你去侍奉别神吧！’

现在求我主我王听仆人的话：若是耶和华激发你来攻击我，愿耶和华悦纳供物；若是出于人，愿他们在耶和华面前受诅咒，因为他们今日赶逐我，不让我在耶和华的产业中有分，说：‘你去事奉别神吧！’

现在求我主我王听你仆人的话。如果是耶和华激动你攻击我，愿耶和华收纳祭物；如果是人激动你，愿他们在耶和华面前受咒诅，因为他们今天把我赶出来，不容我在耶和华的产业上有分，说：‘你去服事别的神吧！’

我主歟、我王歟、請聽僕言、如爾攻我、事由耶和華、可享禮物、如事由人、願耶和華加以咒詛、蓋人驅我、使我離耶和華民、而事他上帝。今日之事可為證。

求我主我王聽僕言、如主使爾逼迫我、可饗祭物、如人慫恿爾、願其在主前受咒詛、蓋驅我不容居於主之民中、主之民中原文作主之業中謂我曰、往事他神、

Now let my lord the king listen to his servant’s words. If the Lord has incited you against me, then may he accept an offering. If, however, people have done it, may they be cursed before the Lord! They have driven me today from my share in the Lord’s inheritance and have said,‘ Go, serve other gods.’

King Saul, please listen to what I’m saying. Was it the Lord who made you angry with me? If it was, may he accept my offering. Was it people who made you angry at me? If it was, may the Lord see them cursed. They have driven me today from my share of the Lord’ s land. By doing that, they might as well have said,‘ Go and serve other gods.’

If it is the Lord who has stirred you up against me, may he accept an offering, but if it is men, may they be cursed before the Lord, for they have driven me out this day that I should have no share in the heritage of the Lord, saying,‘ Go, serve other gods.’

But now let my lord the king listen to his servant. If the Lord has stirred you up against me, then let him accept my offering. But if this is simply a human scheme, then may those involved be cursed by the Lord. For they have driven me from my home, so I can no longer live among the Lord’s people, and they have said,‘ Go, worship pagan gods.’

Now, may my lord the king please hear the words of his servant: If it is the LORD who has incited you against me, then may he accept an offering. But if it is people, may they be cursed in the presence of the LORD, for today they have banished me from sharing in the inheritance of the LORD, saying,‘ Go and worship other gods.’

Now then, please let my lord the king listen to the words of his servant. If the Lord has incited you against me, may He accept an offering; but if it is people, cursed are they before the Lord, because they have driven me out today so that I would have no share in the inheritance of the Lord, saying,‘ Go, serve other gods.’

Now, may my lord the king please hear the words of his servant: If it is the Lord who has incited you against me, then may He accept an offering. But if it is people, may they be cursed in the presence of the Lord, for today they have driven me away from sharing in the inheritance of the Lord saying,‘ Go and worship other gods.’

Now therefore, I pray thee, let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If the LORD have stirred thee up against me, let him accept an offering: but if[ they be] the children of men, cursed[ be] they before the LORD; for they have driven me out this day from abiding in the inheritance of the LORD, saying, Go, serve other gods.

So let my lord the king now listen to the words of his servant. If the LORD has incited you against me, may he take delight in an offering. But if men have instigated this, may they be cursed before the LORD! For they have driven me away this day from being united with the LORD’s inheritance, saying,‘ Go on, serve other gods!’

For the king will hear, to deliver his servant out of the hand of the man who would destroy me and my son together out of the inheritance of God.

I am among those who are peaceable and faithful in Israel. You seek to destroy a city and a mother in Israel. Why will you swallow up Yahweh’s inheritance?”

David said to Abishai, and to all his servants,“ Behold, my son, who came out of my bowels, seeks my life. How much more this Benjamite, now? Leave him alone, and let him curse; for Yahweh has invited him.

Satan stood up against Israel, and moved David to take a census of Israel.

Yahweh smelled the pleasant aroma. Yahweh said in his heart,“ I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake because the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth. I will never again strike every living thing, as I have done.

Woe is me, that I live in Meshech, that I dwell among the tents of Kedar!

On the next day, an evil spirit from God came mightily on Saul, and he prophesied in the middle of the house. David played with his hand, as he did day by day. Saul had his spear in his hand;

But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you any“ good news” other than that which we preached to you, let him be cursed.As we have said before, so I now say again: if any man preaches to you any“ good news” other than that which you received, let him be cursed.

For Yahweh has made the Jordan a border between us and you, you children of Reuben and children of Gad. You have no portion in Yahweh.”’ So your children might make our children cease from fearing Yahweh.“ Therefore we said,‘ Let’s now prepare to build ourselves an altar, not for burnt offering, nor for sacrifice;but it will be a witness between us and you, and between our generations after us, that we may perform the service of Yahweh before him with our burnt offerings, with our sacrifices, and with our peace offerings;’ that your children may not tell our children in time to come,‘ You have no portion in Yahweh.’

I will lay your cities waste, and will bring your sanctuaries to desolation. I will not take delight in the sweet fragrance of your offerings.

There are six things which Yahweh hates; yes, seven which are an abomination to him:arrogant eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood,a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief,a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers.

Then Judah came near to him, and said,“ Oh, my lord, please let your servant speak a word in my lord’s ears, and don’t let your anger burn against your servant; for you are even as Pharaoh.

As the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul pants after you, God.My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?

Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to Yahweh’s law.Blessed are those who keep his statutes, who seek him with their whole heart.Yes, they do nothing wrong. They walk in his ways.You have commanded your precepts, that we should fully obey them.Oh that my ways were steadfast to obey your statutes!Then I wouldn’t be disappointed, when I consider all of your commandments.I will give thanks to you with uprightness of heart, when I learn your righteous judgments.I will observe your statutes. Don’t utterly forsake me.

“ Don’t slander a servant to his master, lest he curse you, and you be held guilty.

I wish that those who disturb you would cut themselves off.

Yahweh said to him,‘ How?’ He said,‘ I will go out and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ He said,‘ You will entice him, and will also prevail. Go out and do so.’

Now Yahweh’s Spirit departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from Yahweh troubled him.Saul’s servants said to him,“ See now, an evil spirit from God troubles you.Let our lord now command your servants who are in front of you to seek out a man who is a skillful player on the harp. Then when the evil spirit from God is on you, he will play with his hand, and you will be well.”Saul said to his servants,“ Provide me now a man who can play well, and bring him to me.”Then one of the young men answered, and said,“ Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite who is skillful in playing, a mighty man of valor, a man of war, prudent in speech, and a handsome person; and Yahweh is with him.”Therefore Saul sent messengers to Jesse, and said,“ Send me David your son, who is with the sheep.”Jesse took a donkey loaded with bread, and a container of wine, and a young goat, and sent them by David his son to Saul.David came to Saul, and stood before him. He loved him greatly; and he became his armor bearer.Saul sent to Jesse, saying,“ Please let David stand before me; for he has found favor in my sight.”When the spirit from God was on Saul, David took the harp, and played with his hand; so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him.

Then you shall see and be radiant, and your heart will thrill and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea will be turned to you. The wealth of the nations will come to you.

Again Yahweh’s anger burned against Israel, and he moved David against them, saying,“ Go, count Israel and Judah.”

Alexander, the coppersmith, did much evil to me. The Lord will repay him according to his deeds,

Yet if because of food your brother is grieved, you walk no longer in love. Don’t destroy with your food him for whom Christ died.

She fell at his feet, and said,“ On me, my lord, on me be the blame! Please let your servant speak in your ears. Hear the words of your servant.

Yahweh will scatter you among the peoples, and you will be left few in number among the nations where Yahweh will lead you away.There you shall serve gods, the work of men’s hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell.
