Now therefore, please, let my Lord the king hear the words of his servant: If the Lord has stirred you up against me, let Him accept an offering. But if it is the children of men, may they be cursed before the Lord, for they have driven me out this day from sharing in the inheritance of the Lord, saying,‘ Go, serve other gods.’

求我主我王听仆人的话：若是耶和华激发你攻击我，愿耶和华收纳祭物；若是人激发你，愿他在耶和华面前受咒诅；因为他现今赶逐我，不容我在耶和华的产业上有份，说：‘你去侍奉别神吧！’

我主歟、我王歟、請聽僕言、如爾攻我、事由耶和華、可享禮物、如事由人、願耶和華加以咒詛、蓋人驅我、使我離耶和華民、而事他上帝。今日之事可為證。

求我主我王聽僕言、如主使爾逼迫我、可饗祭物、如人慫恿爾、願其在主前受咒詛、蓋驅我不容居於主之民中、主之民中原文作主之業中謂我曰、往事他神、

Now let my lord the king listen to his servant’s words. If the Lord has incited you against me, then may he accept an offering. If, however, people have done it, may they be cursed before the Lord! They have driven me today from my share in the Lord’s inheritance and have said,‘ Go, serve other gods.’

King Saul, please listen to what I’m saying. Was it the Lord who made you angry with me? If it was, may he accept my offering. Was it people who made you angry at me? If it was, may the Lord see them cursed. They have driven me today from my share of the Lord’ s land. By doing that, they might as well have said,‘ Go and serve other gods.’

If it is the Lord who has stirred you up against me, may he accept an offering, but if it is men, may they be cursed before the Lord, for they have driven me out this day that I should have no share in the heritage of the Lord, saying,‘ Go, serve other gods.’

But now let my lord the king listen to his servant. If the Lord has stirred you up against me, then let him accept my offering. But if this is simply a human scheme, then may those involved be cursed by the Lord. For they have driven me from my home, so I can no longer live among the Lord’s people, and they have said,‘ Go, worship pagan gods.’

Now, may my lord the king please hear the words of his servant: If it is the LORD who has incited you against me, then may he accept an offering. But if it is people, may they be cursed in the presence of the LORD, for today they have banished me from sharing in the inheritance of the LORD, saying,‘ Go and worship other gods.’

Now then, please let my lord the king listen to the words of his servant. If the Lord has incited you against me, may He accept an offering; but if it is people, cursed are they before the Lord, because they have driven me out today so that I would have no share in the inheritance of the Lord, saying,‘ Go, serve other gods.’

Now therefore, I pray thee, let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If it be Jehovah that hath stirred thee up against me, let him accept an offering: but if it be the children of men, cursed be they before Jehovah; for they have driven me out this day that I should not cleave unto the inheritance of Jehovah, saying, Go, serve other gods.

Now, may my lord the king please hear the words of his servant: If it is the Lord who has incited you against me, then may He accept an offering. But if it is people, may they be cursed in the presence of the Lord, for today they have driven me away from sharing in the inheritance of the Lord saying,‘ Go and worship other gods.’

Now therefore, I pray thee, let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If the LORD have stirred thee up against me, let him accept an offering: but if[ they be] the children of men, cursed[ be] they before the LORD; for they have driven me out this day from abiding in the inheritance of the LORD, saying, Go, serve other gods.

So let my lord the king now listen to the words of his servant. If the LORD has incited you against me, may he take delight in an offering. But if men have instigated this, may they be cursed before the LORD! For they have driven me away this day from being united with the LORD’s inheritance, saying,‘ Go on, serve other gods!’

Now therefore, please let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If it is so that Yahweh has stirred you up against me, let him accept an offering. But if it is the children of men, they are cursed before Yahweh; for they have driven me out today that I shouldn’t cling to Yahweh’s inheritance, saying,‘ Go, serve other gods!’

For the king will hear and deliver his maidservant from the hand of the man who would destroy me and my son together from the inheritance of God.’

I am among the peaceable and faithful in Israel. You seek to destroy a city and a mother in Israel. Why would you swallow up the inheritance of the Lord?”

And David said to Abishai and all his servants,“ See how my son who came from my own body seeks my life. How much more now may this Benjamite? Let him alone, and let him curse; for so the Lord has ordered him.

Now Satan stood up against Israel, and moved David to number Israel.

And the Lord smelled a soothing aroma. Then the Lord said in His heart,“ I will never again curse the ground for man’s sake, although the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done.

Woe is me, that I dwell in Meshech, That I dwell among the tents of Kedar!

And it happened on the next day that the distressing spirit from God came upon Saul, and he prophesied inside the house. So David played music with his hand, as at other times; but there was a spear in Saul’s hand.

But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.

For the Lord has made the Jordan a border between you and us, you children of Reuben and children of Gad. You have no part in the Lord.” So your descendants would make our descendants cease fearing the Lord.’Therefore we said,‘ Let us now prepare to build ourselves an altar, not for burnt offering nor for sacrifice,but that it may be a witness between you and us and our generations after us, that we may perform the service of the Lord before Him with our burnt offerings, with our sacrifices, and with our peace offerings; that your descendants may not say to our descendants in time to come,“ You have no part in the Lord.”’

I will lay your cities waste and bring your sanctuaries to desolation, and I will not smell the fragrance of your sweet aromas.

These six things the Lord hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood,A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil,A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren.

Then Judah came near to him and said:“ O my Lord, please let your servant speak a word in my lord’s hearing, and do not let your anger burn against your servant; for you are even like Pharaoh.

As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God.My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?

Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the Lord!Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart!They also do no iniquity; They walk in His ways.You have commanded us To keep Your precepts diligently.Oh, that my ways were directed To keep Your statutes!Then I would not be ashamed, When I look into all Your commandments.I will praise You with uprightness of heart, When I learn Your righteous judgments.I will keep Your statutes; Oh, do not forsake me utterly!

Do not malign a servant to his master, Lest he curse you, and you be found guilty.

I could wish that those who trouble you would even cut themselves off!

The Lord said to him,‘ In what way?’ So he said,‘ I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ And the Lord said,‘ You shall persuade him, and also prevail. Go out and do so.’

But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and a distressing spirit from the Lord troubled him.And Saul’s servants said to him,“ Surely, a distressing spirit from God is troubling you.Let our master now command your servants, who are before you, to seek out a man who is a skillful player on the harp. And it shall be that he will play it with his hand when the distressing spirit from God is upon you, and you shall be well.”So Saul said to his servants,“ Provide me now a man who can play well, and bring him to me.”Then one of the servants answered and said,“ Look, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, who is skillful in playing, a mighty man of valor, a man of war, prudent in speech, and a handsome person; and the Lord is with him.”Therefore Saul sent messengers to Jesse, and said,“ Send me your son David, who is with the sheep.”And Jesse took a donkey loaded with bread, a skin of wine, and a young goat, and sent them by his son David to Saul.So David came to Saul and stood before him. And he loved him greatly, and he became his armorbearer.Then Saul sent to Jesse, saying,“ Please let David stand before me, for he has found favor in my sight.”And so it was, whenever the spirit from God was upon Saul, that David would take a harp and play it with his hand. Then Saul would become refreshed and well, and the distressing spirit would depart from him.

Then you shall see and become radiant, And your heart shall swell with joy; Because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, The wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you.

Again the anger of the Lord was aroused against Israel, and He moved David against them to say,“ Go, number Israel and Judah.”

Alexander the coppersmith did me much harm. May the Lord repay him according to his works.

Yet if your brother is grieved because of your food, you are no longer walking in love. Do not destroy with your food the one for whom Christ died.

So she fell at his feet and said:“ On me, my Lord, on me let this iniquity be! And please let your maidservant speak in your ears, and hear the words of your maidservant.

And the Lord will scatter you among the peoples, and you will be left few in number among the nations where the Lord will drive you.And there you will serve gods, the work of men’s hands, wood and stone, which neither see nor hear nor eat nor smell.
