Now let my lord the king listen to his servant’s words. If the Lord has incited you against me, then may he accept an offering. If, however, people have done it, may they be cursed before the Lord! But if this is simply a human scheme, then may those involved be cursed by the Lord. For they have driven me from my home, so I can no longer live among the Lord’s people, and they have said,‘ Go, worship pagan gods.’

Now then, please let my lord the king listen to the words of his servant. If the Lord has incited you against me, may He accept an offering; but if it is people, cursed are they before the Lord, because they have driven me out today so that I would have no share in the inheritance of the Lord, saying,‘ Go, serve other gods.’

Now therefore, please, let my Lord the king hear the words of his servant: If the Lord has stirred you up against me, let Him accept an offering. But if it is the children of men, may they be cursed before the Lord, for they have driven me out this day from sharing in the inheritance of the Lord, saying,‘ Go, serve other gods.’

Now therefore, I pray thee, let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If it be Jehovah that hath stirred thee up against me, let him accept an offering: but if it be the children of men, cursed be they before Jehovah; for they have driven me out this day that I should not cleave unto the inheritance of Jehovah, saying, Go, serve other gods.

If the LORD have stirred thee up against me, let him accept an offering: but if[ they be] the children of men, cursed[ be] they before the LORD; for they have driven me out this day from abiding in the inheritance of the LORD, saying, Go, serve other gods.

So let my lord the king now listen to the words of his servant. If the LORD has incited you against me, may he take delight in an offering. But if men have instigated this, may they be cursed before the LORD! For they have driven me away this day from being united with the LORD’s inheritance, saying,‘ Go on, serve other gods!’

Now therefore, please let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If it is so that Yahweh has stirred you up against me, let him accept an offering. But if it is the children of men, they are cursed before Yahweh; for they have driven me out today that I shouldn’t cling to Yahweh’s inheritance, saying,‘ Go, serve other gods!’

The king will surely listen in order to keep his servant from the grasp of this man who would eliminate both me and my son from God’s inheritance.

I am one of the peaceful and faithful in Israel, but you’re trying to destroy a city that is like a mother in Israel. Why would you devour the LORD’s inheritance?”

Then David said to Abishai and all his servants,“ Look, my own son, my own flesh and blood, intends to take my life— how much more now this Benjaminite! Leave him alone and let him curse me; the LORD has told him to.

The LORD hates six things; in fact, seven are detestable to him:arrogant eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood,a heart that plots wicked schemes, feet eager to run to evil,a lying witness who gives false testimony, and one who stirs up trouble among brothers.

But Judah approached him and said,“ My lord, please let your servant speak personally to my lord. Do not be angry with your servant, for you are like Pharaoh.

As a deer longs for flowing streams, so I long for you, God.I thirst for God, the living God. When can I come and appear before God?
