He continued,“ Why are you chasing me? What evil thing have I done? What am I guilty of?

又说：“我做了什么？我手里有什么恶事？我主竟追赶仆人呢？

又说：“我主为何要追赶仆人呢？我做了什么？我手做了什么恶事呢？

又说：“我主为何要追赶仆人呢？我做了什么？我手做了什么恶事呢？

我主为什么又要追杀仆人呢？我做错了什么，犯了什么罪？

又说：“我主为什么这样追赶仆人呢？我作了什么？我手里犯了什么过错？

又说：“我主为什么追赶你的仆人呢？我到底做了什么，我手中有什么恶行呢？

又說：「我做了甚麼？我手裏有甚麼惡事？我主竟追趕僕人呢？

又說：「我主為何要追趕僕人呢？我做了甚麼？我手做了甚麼惡事呢？

又說：「我主為何要追趕僕人呢？我做了甚麼？我手做了甚麼惡事呢？

我主為什麼又要追殺僕人呢？我做錯了什麼，犯了什麼罪？

又說：“我主為甚麼這樣追趕僕人呢？我作了甚麼？我手裡犯了甚麼過錯？

又說：『主上為甚麼追趕僕人呢？我作了甚麼事？我手裏有甚麼壞事？

又說：「我主為什麼追趕你的僕人呢？我到底做了什麼，我手中有什麼惡行呢？

又曰、我主追僕、曷故、我何所為、我手中有何惡、

又曰、我何所為、我干犯何罪、我主追僕曷故。

又曰、我何所為、我行何惡、我主追僕何故、

And he added,“ Why is my lord pursuing his servant? What have I done, and what wrong am I guilty of?

And he said,“ Why does my lord pursue after his servant? For what have I done? What evil is on my hands?

Why are you chasing me? What have I done? What is my crime?

Then he continued,“ Why is my lord pursuing his servant? What have I done? What crime have I committed?

He also said,“ Why then is my lord pursuing his servant? For what have I done? Or what evil is in my hand?

And he said,“ Why does my Lord thus pursue his servant? For what have I done, or what evil is in my hand?

And he said, Wherefore doth my lord pursue after his servant? for what have I done? or what evil is in my hand?

Then he continued,“ Why is my lord pursuing his servant? What have I done? What evil is in my hand?

And he said, Wherefore doth my lord thus pursue after his servant? for what have I done? or what evil[ is] in mine hand?

He went on to say,“ Why is my lord chasing his servant? What have I done? What wrong have I done?

He said,“ Why does my lord pursue his servant? For what have I done? What evil is in my hand?

He said to Saul,“ Why do you listen when men say,‘ David is trying to harm you’?

Look, my father! Look at this piece of your robe in my hand! I cut off the corner of your robe. But I didn’t kill you. See, there is nothing in my hand that shows I am guilty of doing anything wrong. I haven’t turned against you. I haven’t done anything to harm you. But you are hunting me down. You want to kill me.May the Lord judge between you and me. And may the Lord pay you back because of the wrong things you have done to me. But I won’t do anything to hurt you.People say,‘ Evil acts come from those who do evil.’ So I won’t do anything to hurt you.“ King Saul, who are you trying to catch? Who do you think you are chasing? I’m nothing but a dead dog or a flea!

Can any of you prove I am guilty of sinning? Am I not telling the truth? Then why don’t you believe me?

“ What have I done now?” said David.“ Can’t I even speak?”

They set a trap for me without any reason. Without any reason they dug a pit to catch me.

“ Have I said something wrong?” Jesus replied.“ If I have, then tell everyone what it was. But if I spoke the truth, why did you hit me?”

Lord my God, suppose I have done something wrong. Suppose I am guilty.Or I have done evil to my friend. Or I have robbed my enemy without any reason.Then let my enemy chase me and catch me. Let him stomp me into the ground. Let him bury me in the dust.

Those who hate me without any reason are more than the hairs on my head. Many people who don’t have any reason to be my enemies are trying to destroy me. They force me to give back what I didn’t steal.

But Jesus said to them,“ I have shown you many good works from the Father. Which good work are you throwing stones at me for?”
