大衛聽見拿八死了，就說：「耶和華是應當稱頌的，因為我從拿八手中受了羞辱，他為我伸冤，又阻止他的僕人行惡；耶和華使拿八的惡歸到他自己頭上。」於是大衛派人去向亞比該說，要娶她為妻。

大卫听说纳巴尔死了，就说：“耶和华是当受颂赞的！他为我伸了冤，除去了纳巴尔加给我的羞辱，也拦阻了仆人行恶；耶和华使纳巴尔的恶归到他自己头上。”大卫派人去对娅比盖说，要娶她为妻。

When David heard that Nabal was dead, he said,“ Praise be to the Lord, who has upheld my cause against Nabal for treating me with contempt. He has kept his servant from doing wrong and has brought Nabal’s wrongdoing down on his own head.” Then David sent word to Abigail, asking her to become his wife.

David heard that Nabal was dead. So he said,“ Give praise to the Lord. Nabal was rude to me. But the Lord stood up for me. He has kept me from doing something wrong. He has paid Nabal back for the wrong things he did.” Then David sent a message to Abigail. He asked her to become his wife.

When David heard that Nabal was dead, he said,“ Blessed be the Lord who has avenged the insult I received at the hand of Nabal, and has kept back his servant from wrongdoing. The Lord has returned the evil of Nabal on his own head.” Then David sent and spoke to Abigail, to take her as his wife.

When David heard that Nabal was dead, he said,“ Praise the Lord, who has avenged the insult I received from Nabal and has kept me from doing it myself. Nabal has received the punishment for his sin.” Then David sent messengers to Abigail to ask her to become his wife.

When David heard that Nabal was dead, he said,“ Blessed be the LORD who championed my cause against Nabal’s insults and restrained his servant from doing evil. The LORD brought Nabal’s evil deeds back on his own head.” Then David sent messengers to speak to Abigail about marrying him.

When David heard that Nabal was dead, he said,“ Blessed be the Lord, who has pleaded the cause of the shame inflicted on me by the hand of Nabal, and has kept back His servant from evil. The Lord has also returned the evildoing of Nabal on his own head.” Then David sent a proposal to Abigail, to take her as his wife.

So when David heard that Nabal was dead, he said,“ Blessed be the Lord, who has pleaded the cause of my reproach from the hand of Nabal, and has kept His servant from evil! For the Lord has returned the wickedness of Nabal on his own head.” And David sent and proposed to Abigail, to take her as his wife.

And when David heard that Nabal was dead, he said, Blessed be Jehovah, that hath pleaded the cause of my reproach from the hand of Nabal, and hath kept back his servant from evil: and the evil- doing of Nabal hath Jehovah returned upon his own head. And David sent and spake concerning Abigail, to take her to him to wife.

When David heard that Nabal was dead, he said,“ Praise the Lord who championed my cause against Nabal’s insults and restrained His servant from doing evil. The Lord brought Nabal’s evil deeds back on his own head.” Then David sent messengers to speak to Abigail about marrying him.

And when David heard that Nabal was dead, he said, Blessed[ be] the LORD, that hath pleaded the cause of my reproach from the hand of Nabal, and hath kept his servant from evil: for the LORD hath returned the wickedness of Nabal upon his own head. And David sent and communed with Abigail, to take her to him to wife.

When David heard that Nabal had died, he said,“ Praised be the LORD who has vindicated me and avenged the insult that I suffered from Nabal! The LORD has kept his servant from doing evil, and he has repaid Nabal for his evil deeds.” Then David sent word to Abigail and asked her to become his wife.

When David heard that Nabal was dead, he said,“ Blessed is Yahweh, who has pleaded the cause of my reproach from the hand of Nabal, and has kept back his servant from evil. Yahweh has returned the evildoing of Nabal on his own head.” David sent and spoke concerning Abigail, to take her to himself as wife.

現在，我主啊，耶和華既然阻止你親手報仇，避免流人的血，我指着永生的耶和華起誓，又指着你的性命起誓：『現在，願你的仇敵和謀害我主的人都像拿八一樣。』

我指着阻止我加害於你的耶和華－以色列永生的上帝起誓，若不是你很快地來迎接我，到早晨天亮的時候，凡屬拿八的男丁，必定一個也不留。」

因耶和華必為他們辯護，也必奪取那搶奪者的命。

王又對示每說：「你向我父親大衛所做的一切惡事，你自己心裏都知道，耶和華必使你的罪惡歸到你自己的頭上。

他的毒害必回到自己頭上，他的殘暴必落到自己的腦袋上。

大衛對亞比該說：「耶和華－以色列的上帝是應當稱頌的，因為他今日派你來迎接我。

我要承受耶和華的惱怒，直到他為我辯護，為我伸冤，因我得罪了他；他要領我進入光明，我必得見他的公義。

主啊，你為我伸冤，你救贖了我的命。耶和華啊，你已看見我的委屈，求你為我主持正義。他們要報復，謀害我，你都看見了。

耶和華永遠活着。願我的磐石被稱頌，願上帝－救我的磐石受尊崇。這位上帝為我伸冤，使萬民服在我以下。他救我脫離仇敵，又把我舉起，高過那些起來攻擊我的人，救我脫離殘暴的人。

主必救我脫離一切的兇惡，也必救我進他的天國。願榮耀歸給他，直到永永遠遠。阿們！

願賜平安的上帝親自使你們完全成聖！願你們的靈、魂、體得蒙保守，在我們的主耶穌基督來臨的時候，完全無可指責。

於是哈曼被掛在他為末底改所預備的木架上；王的憤怒才平息了。

得着妻子的，得着好處，他是蒙了耶和華的恩惠。

願耶和華作仲裁者，在你我中間判斷。願他鑒察，為我伸冤，救我脫離你的手。」

魅力是虛假的，美貌是虛浮的；惟敬畏耶和華的婦女必得稱讚。

我們祈求上帝使你們不做任何惡事；這不是要顯明我們是經得起考驗的，而是要你們行事端正，即使我們似乎經不起考驗也沒有關係。

因此，看哪，我要用荊棘堵塞她的道，築牆擋住她，使她找不着路；以致她追隨所愛的人，卻追不上，尋找他們，卻尋不着，就說：「我要回到前夫那裏去，因我那時比現在還好。」

房屋錢財是祖宗所遺留的；惟有賢慧的妻是耶和華所賜的。

才德的婦人誰能得着呢？她的價值遠勝過寶石。

此後，我聽見好像有一大羣人在天上大聲說：「哈利路亞！救恩、榮耀、權能都屬於我們的上帝。他的判斷又真實又公義；因他判斷了那大淫婦，她用淫行敗壞了世界。上帝為他的僕人伸冤，向淫婦討流僕人血的罪。」他們又一次說：「哈利路亞！燒淫婦的煙往上冒，直到永永遠遠。」那二十四位長老和四活物就俯伏敬拜坐在寶座上的上帝，說：「阿們。哈利路亞！」

「以色列有領袖率領，百姓甘心犧牲自己，你們當稱頌耶和華！

義人見仇敵遭報就歡喜，他要在惡人的血中洗腳。因此，人必說：「義人誠然有善報，在地上果然有施行審判的上帝！」

這事以後，大衛聽見了，說：「流尼珥兒子押尼珥的血，我和我的國在耶和華面前永遠是無辜的。願這血歸到約押頭上和他父的全家；又願約押家不斷有患漏症的，長痲瘋的，架柺杖而行的，仆倒在刀下的，缺乏食物的。」

我們有一小妹，她還沒有乳房，人來提親的日子，我們當為她怎麼辦呢？
