When David heard that Nabal was dead, he said,“ Blessed be the Lord, who has pleaded the cause of the shame inflicted on me by the hand of Nabal, and has kept back His servant from evil. The Lord has also returned the evildoing of Nabal on his own head.” Then David sent a proposal to Abigail, to take her as his wife.

When David heard that Nabal was dead, he said,“ Praise be to the Lord, who has upheld my cause against Nabal for treating me with contempt. He has kept his servant from doing wrong and has brought Nabal’s wrongdoing down on his own head.” Then David sent word to Abigail, asking her to become his wife.

David heard that Nabal was dead. So he said,“ Give praise to the Lord. Nabal was rude to me. But the Lord stood up for me. He has kept me from doing something wrong. He has paid Nabal back for the wrong things he did.” Then David sent a message to Abigail. He asked her to become his wife.

When David heard that Nabal was dead, he said,“ Blessed be the Lord who has avenged the insult I received at the hand of Nabal, and has kept back his servant from wrongdoing. The Lord has returned the evil of Nabal on his own head.” Then David sent and spoke to Abigail, to take her as his wife.

When David heard that Nabal was dead, he said,“ Praise the Lord, who has avenged the insult I received from Nabal and has kept me from doing it myself. Nabal has received the punishment for his sin.” Then David sent messengers to Abigail to ask her to become his wife.

When David heard that Nabal was dead, he said,“ Blessed be the LORD who championed my cause against Nabal’s insults and restrained his servant from doing evil. The LORD brought Nabal’s evil deeds back on his own head.” Then David sent messengers to speak to Abigail about marrying him.

So when David heard that Nabal was dead, he said,“ Blessed be the Lord, who has pleaded the cause of my reproach from the hand of Nabal, and has kept His servant from evil! For the Lord has returned the wickedness of Nabal on his own head.” And David sent and proposed to Abigail, to take her as his wife.

And when David heard that Nabal was dead, he said, Blessed be Jehovah, that hath pleaded the cause of my reproach from the hand of Nabal, and hath kept back his servant from evil: and the evil- doing of Nabal hath Jehovah returned upon his own head. And David sent and spake concerning Abigail, to take her to him to wife.

When David heard that Nabal was dead, he said,“ Praise the Lord who championed my cause against Nabal’s insults and restrained His servant from doing evil. The Lord brought Nabal’s evil deeds back on his own head.” Then David sent messengers to speak to Abigail about marrying him.

And when David heard that Nabal was dead, he said, Blessed[ be] the LORD, that hath pleaded the cause of my reproach from the hand of Nabal, and hath kept his servant from evil: for the LORD hath returned the wickedness of Nabal upon his own head. And David sent and communed with Abigail, to take her to him to wife.

When David heard that Nabal had died, he said,“ Praised be the LORD who has vindicated me and avenged the insult that I suffered from Nabal! The LORD has kept his servant from doing evil, and he has repaid Nabal for his evil deeds.” Then David sent word to Abigail and asked her to become his wife.

When David heard that Nabal was dead, he said,“ Blessed is Yahweh, who has pleaded the cause of my reproach from the hand of Nabal, and has kept back his servant from evil. Yahweh has returned the evildoing of Nabal on his own head.” David sent and spoke concerning Abigail, to take her to himself as wife.

“ Now then, my lord, as the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, since the Lord has restrained you from shedding blood, and from avenging yourself by your own hand, now then, may your enemies and those who seek evil against my lord, be like Nabal.

Nevertheless, as the Lord God of Israel lives, who has restrained me from harming you, if you had not come quickly to meet me, there certainly would not have been left to Nabal until the morning light as much as one male.”

For the Lord will plead their case And take the life of those who rob them.

The king also said to Shimei,“ You yourself know all the evil that you acknowledge in your heart, which you did to my father David; therefore the Lord will return your evil on your own head.

His harm will return on his own head, And his violence will descend on the top of his own head.

Then David said to Abigail,“ Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, who sent you this day to meet me,

I will endure the rage of the Lord Because I have sinned against Him, Until He pleads my case and executes justice for me. He will bring me out to the light, And I will look at His righteousness.

Lord, You have pleaded my soul’s cause; You have redeemed my life.Lord, You have seen my oppression; Judge my case.You have seen all their vengeance, All their schemes against me.

The Lord lives, and blessed be my Rock; And exalted be my God, the rock of my salvation,The God who executes vengeance for me, And brings down peoples under me,Who also brings me out from my enemies; You also raise me above those who rise up against me; You rescue me from the violent person.

The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed, and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom; to Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be kept complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

So they hanged Haman on the wooden gallows which he had prepared for Mordecai, and the king’s anger subsided.

He who finds a wife finds a good thing And obtains favor from the Lord.

Her smoke rises forever and ever.”And the twenty four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sits on the throne, saying,“ Amen. Hallelujah!”

The righteous will rejoice when he sees vengeance; He will wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.And people will say,“ There certainly is a reward for the righteous; There certainly is a God who judges on the earth!”

Afterward, when David heard about this, he said,“ I and my kingdom are innocent before the Lord forever of the blood of Abner the son of Ner.May it turn upon the head of Joab and on all his father’s house; and may there not be eliminated from the house of Joab someone who suffers a discharge, or has leprosy, or holds the spindle, or falls by the sword, or lacks bread.”

“ We have a little sister, And she has no breasts; What shall we do for our sister On the day when she is spoken for?
