He said to his men,“ May the LORD keep me far away from doing such a thing to my lord, who is the LORD’s chosen one, by extending my hand against him. After all, he is the LORD’s chosen one.”

就对部下说：“耶和华绝不允许我对耶和华的受膏者我主做这样的事，我绝不对他下手，因为他是耶和华的受膏者。”

謂從者曰、我主乃耶和華之受膏者、願耶和華禁我舉手攻之、以其為耶和華所膏也、

謂從者曰、耶和華以膏沐我主、而我舉手攻之、斷不可為。

謂從者曰、我畏主、斷不敢舉手害我主王、即主所立受膏者、彼原為主所立受膏者也、

He said to his men,“ The Lord forbid that I should do such a thing to my master, the Lord’s anointed, or lay my hand on him; for he is the anointed of the Lord.”

He said to his men,“ May the Lord keep me from doing a thing like that again to my master. He is the Lord’ s anointed king. So I promise that I will never lay my hand on him. The Lord has anointed him.”

He said to his men,“ The Lord forbid that I should do this thing to my lord, the Lord’s anointed, to put out my hand against him, seeing he is the Lord’s anointed.”

He said to his men,“ The Lord forbid that I should do this to my lord the king. I shouldn’t attack the Lord’s anointed one, for the Lord himself has chosen him.”

He said to his men,“ As the LORD is my witness, I would never do such a thing to my lord, the LORD’s anointed. I will never lift my hand against him, since he is the LORD’s anointed.”

So he said to his men,“ Far be it from me because of the Lord that I would do this thing to my lord, the Lord’s anointed, to reach out with my hand against him, since he is the Lord’s anointed.”

And he said to his men,“ The Lord forbid that I should do this thing to my master, the LORD’s anointed, to stretch out my hand against him, seeing he is the anointed of the Lord.”

And he said unto his men, Jehovah forbid that I should do this thing unto my lord, Jehovah’s anointed, to put forth my hand against him, seeing he is Jehovah’s anointed.

He said to his men,“ I swear before the Lord: I would never do such a thing to my lord, the Lord’s anointed. I will never lift my hand against him, since he is the Lord’s anointed.”

And he said unto his men, The LORD forbid that I should do this thing unto my master, the LORD’S anointed, to stretch forth mine hand against him, seeing he[ is] the anointed of the LORD.

He said to his men,“ Yahweh forbid that I should do this thing to my lord, Yahweh’s anointed, to stretch out my hand against him, since he is Yahweh’s anointed.”

But David said to Abishai,“ Don’t kill him! Who can extend his hand against the LORD’s chosen one and remain guiltless?”David went on to say,“ As the LORD lives, the LORD himself will strike him down. Either his day will come and he will die, or he will go down into battle and be swept away.But may the LORD prevent me from extending my hand against the LORD’s chosen one! Now take the spear by Saul’s head and the jug of water, and let’s get out of here!”

But I say to you, love your enemy and pray for those who persecute you,

David replied to him,“ How is it that you were not afraid to reach out your hand to destroy the LORD’s anointed?”

If I have rejoiced over the misfortune of my enemy or exulted because calamity found him–I have not even permitted my mouth to sin by asking for his life through a curse–

Bless those who persecute you, bless and do not curse.Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep.Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty but associate with the lowly. For there is no authority except by God’s appointment, and the authorities that exist have been instituted by God.So the person who resists such authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will incur judgment

See that no one pays back evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good for one another and for all.
