跟随的人对大卫说：“耶和华曾应许你说：‘我要将你的仇敌交在你手里，你可以任意待他。’如今时候到了！”大卫就起来，悄悄地割下扫罗外袍的衣襟。

大卫的人对大卫说：“看哪，这日子到了！耶和华曾对你说：‘看哪，我要将你的仇敌交在你手里，你可以照你看为好的对待他。’”大卫就起来，悄悄地割下扫罗外袍的衣角。

The men said,“ This is the day the Lord spoke of when he said to you,‘ I will give your enemy into your hands for you to deal with as you wish.’” Then David crept up unnoticed and cut off a corner of Saul’s robe.

David’s men said,“ This is the day the Lord told you about. He said to you,‘ I will hand your enemy over to you. Then you can deal with him as you want to.’ ” So David came up close to Saul without being seen. He cut off a corner of Saul’s robe.

And the men of David said to him,“ Here is the day of which the Lord said to you,‘ Behold, I will give your enemy into your hand, and you shall do to him as it shall seem good to you.’” Then David arose and stealthily cut off a corner of Saul’s robe.

“ Now’s your opportunity!” David’s men whispered to him.“ Today the Lord is telling you,‘ I will certainly put your enemy into your power, to do with as you wish.’” So David crept forward and cut off a piece of the hem of Saul’s robe.

so they said to him,“ Look, this is the day the LORD told you about:‘ I will hand your enemy over to you so you can do to him whatever you desire.’” Then David got up and secretly cut off the corner of Saul’s robe.

Then David’s men said to him,“ Behold, this is the day of which the Lord said to you,‘ Behold; I am about to hand your enemy over to you, and you shall do to him as it seems good to you.’ ” Then David got up and cut off the edge of Saul’s robe secretly.

Then the men of David said to him,“ This is the day of which the Lord said to you,‘ Behold, I will deliver your enemy into your hand, that you may do to him as it seems good to you.’” And David arose and secretly cut off a corner of Saul’s robe.

And the men of David said unto him, Behold, the day of which Jehovah said unto thee, Behold, I will deliver thine enemy into thy hand, and thou shalt do to him as it shall seem good unto thee. Then David arose, and cut off the skirt of Saul’s robe privily.

so they said to him,“ Look, this is the day the Lord told you about:‘ I will hand your enemy over to you so you can do to him whatever you desire.’” Then David got up and secretly cut off the corner of Saul’s robe.

And the men of David said unto him, Behold the day of which the LORD said unto thee, Behold, I will deliver thine enemy into thine hand, that thou mayest do to him as it shall seem good unto thee. Then David arose, and cut off the skirt of Saul’s robe privily.

David’s men said to him,“ This is the day about which the LORD said to you,‘ I will give your enemy into your hand, and you can do to him whatever seems appropriate to you.’” So David got up and quietly cut off an edge of Saul’s robe.

David’s men said to him,“ Behold, the day of which Yahweh said to you,‘ Behold, I will deliver your enemy into your hand, and you shall do to him as it shall seem good to you.’” Then David arose, and cut off the skirt of Saul’s robe secretly.

亞比篩對大衛說：『今天上帝將你的仇敵送交在你手裏；現在請容我拿矛將他刺透在地上：一刺就成，不用再刺。』大衛對亞比篩說：『不可殺害他；有誰伸手害永恆主所膏立的、而免受罰呢？』大衛又說：『我指着永活的永恆主來起誓：他或是被永恆主擊打，或是他日子已到，他自會死，或是他下戰場而被收拾，但我絕對不伸手去害永恆主所膏立的；現在你只要將他頭旁的矛和水罐拿來，我們就走。』

今天永恆主將王交在我手裏，我卻不情願伸手來害永恆主所膏立的；永恆主總必照各人的正義和忠信來還報各人。

看哪，今天你親眼看到永恆主今天怎樣在洞中將你交在我手裏；但我不肯殺害你；我卻憐惜你，說：「我不伸手害我主上，因為他是永恆主膏立的。」

有人告訴掃羅說：『大衛到了基伊拉了』；掃羅說：『他進了有門有閂的城，自己關閉在裏頭；這是上帝將他交付於我手了。』

你今天明白地宣示你怎樣以善待我：因為永恆主將我送交你手裏，你卻沒有殺害我。

請饒恕使女的過犯；永恆主必定為我主建立一個堅固的王朝，因為我主打的乃是永恆主的仗；並且在你平生的日子也找不着有甚麼壞事。雖有人起來追逼你、尋索你性命，我主的性命卻在永恆主你的上帝那裏包在活人的寶貝包裏；惟獨你仇敵的性命、永恆主卻要甩去，像在機弦窩中甩出去一樣。我主現在若不無緣無故殺人流血、親手復仇，將來永恆主照他一切所說到我主的福、而施於我主，委任你做人君來管理以色列，那時我主就不至於搖蕩不安，心有內疚了。永恆主使我主得了福以後，求你懷念着使女。』

對他說：『你不要懼怕！我父掃羅的手必找不着你；你必作王管理以色列，我必在你以下居第二位；這事連我父親掃羅都知道了。』

將伊施波設的頭帶到希伯崙去見大衛，對王說：『看哪，這尋索你性命的、你的仇敵掃羅的兒子伊施波設的首級在這裏呢；永恆主今日為我主我王在掃羅和他後裔身上報了仇了。』

若我帳棚的家人未嘗說：「誰不以我主人的肉食而飽足呢？」（
