He came to the sheep pens along the way; a cave was there, and Saul went in to relieve himself. David and his men were far back in the cave.

神哪，求你恩待我、恩待我，因為我的心投靠你！我投靠在你翅膀的蔭庇下，直到禍患過去。我要向至高神呼求，向那為我成就萬事的神呼求。他從天上賜下救恩拯救我，他斥責那踐踏我的人。細拉神賜下了他的慈愛和信實。我的性命在獅子中間，我躺臥在吞滅人的世人當中；他們的牙齒是長矛和箭矢，他們的舌頭是銳利的刀劍。神哪，願你受尊崇高於諸天，願你的榮耀遍及全地！他們為我的腳設下網羅，我的心受了壓制。他們在我面前挖了陷阱，自己反掉在其中。細拉神哪，我心堅定，我心堅定；我要歌唱，我要歌頌！醒來吧，我的靈！醒來吧，里拉琴和豎琴，我要把黎明喚醒！主啊，我要在萬民中稱謝你，在萬族中歌頌你！因為你的慈愛偉大，上達諸天，你的信實上達雲霄。神哪，願你受尊崇高於諸天，願你的榮耀遍及全地！

他們的審判官被扔下懸崖，他們才會聽我的言語，因為這言語令人欣喜。
