Saul was told that David had gone to Keilah, and he said,“ God has delivered him into my hands, for David has imprisoned himself by entering a town with gates and bars.”

Saul was told that David had gone to Keilah. He said,“ God has handed him over to me. David has trapped himself by entering a town that has gates with metal bars.”

Now it was told Saul that David had come to Keilah. And Saul said,“ God has given him into my hand, for he has shut himself in by entering a town that has gates and bars.”

Saul soon learned that David was at Keilah.“ Good!” he exclaimed.“ We’ve got him now! God has handed him over to me, for he has trapped himself in a walled town!”

When it was reported to Saul that David had gone to Keilah, he said,“ God has handed him over to me, for he has trapped himself by entering a town with barred gates.”

When it was reported to Saul that David had come to Keilah, Saul said,“ God has handed him over to me, for he shut himself in by entering a city with double gates and bars.”

And Saul was told that David had gone to Keilah. So Saul said,“ God has delivered him into my hand, for he has shut himself in by entering a town that has gates and bars.”

And it was told Saul that David was come to Keilah. And Saul said, God hath delivered him into my hand; for he is shut in, by entering into a town that hath gates and bars.

When it was reported to Saul that David had gone to Keilah, he said,“ God has handed him over to me, for he has trapped himself by entering a town with barred gates.”

跟隨大衛的人對他說：“耶和華曾應許你說：‘我要把你的仇敵交在你的手裡，你可以隨意待他。’看哪！今天就是時候了。”於是大衛起來，悄悄地割下掃羅外袍的衣邊。事後，大衛為了割下掃羅的衣邊，心中自責，就對跟隨他的人說：“我在耶和華面前絕對不能這樣對待我主耶和華的受膏者，我絕對不能動手攻擊他，因為他是耶和華的受膏者。”

惡人的歡呼並不長久，不敬虔者的快樂，不過是暫時的嗎？

亞比篩對大衛說：“今天神把你的仇敵交在你手裡了。現在求你容我用矛把他刺透在地上，一刺就夠，不必再刺。”大衛卻對亞比篩說：“不可殺死他，因為有誰伸手傷害耶和華的受膏者而無罪呢？”

因為我的仇敵議論我；那些窺探著要害我性命的，一同商議，說：“神已經離棄了他，你們追趕他，拿住他吧！因為沒有人搭救他。”

大衛住在曠野的山寨裡，又住在西弗曠野的山裡。掃羅天天尋索大衛，神卻不把大衛交在他手裡。

法老必論到以色列人的事，說：‘他們在這地走迷了路，曠野把他們困住了。’

仇敵說：‘我要追趕，我要追上，我要均分擄物；我要在他們身上得到滿足；我要拔出刀來，親手趕絕他們。’

有人告訴迦薩人說：“參孫到這裡來了。”他們就把他圍住，整夜在城門口埋伏著，整夜默不作聲，心裡說：“等到早晨天亮，我們才殺他。”參孫睡到半夜，就在半夜起來，抓緊城門的門扇和兩邊門柱，把它們與門閂一起拔起來，放在自己的肩頭上，扛到希伯崙對面的山頂去。

日子將到，你的仇敵必築壘攻擊你，周圍環繞你，四面困住你，要摧毀你和你裡面的兒女，沒有一塊石頭留在另一塊石頭上面，因為你不知道那眷顧你的時期。”
