於是米甲將大衛從窗戶裏縋下去，大衛就逃走，躲避了。

他們走後，二人從井裏上來，去告訴大衛王說：「亞希多弗如此如此定計害你，你們務要起來，快快過河。」於是大衛和跟隨他的人都起來，過約旦河。到了天亮，無一人不過約旦河的。

有許多公牛圍繞我，巴珊大力的公牛四面困住我。

他們圍困了我們的腳步；他們瞪着眼，要把我們推倒在地。

耶和華啊，求你拯救我脫離凶惡的人，保護我脫離強暴的人！他們心中圖謀奸惡，常常聚集要爭戰。他們使舌頭尖利如蛇，嘴裏有虺蛇的毒氣。（細拉）耶和華啊，求你拯救我脫離惡人的手，保護我脫離強暴的人！他們圖謀推我跌倒。驕傲人為我暗設網羅和繩索；他們在路旁鋪下網，設下圈套。（細拉）我曾對耶和華說：你是我的神。耶和華啊，求你留心聽我懇求的聲音！主－耶和華、我救恩的力量啊，在爭戰的日子，你遮蔽了我的頭。耶和華啊，求你不要遂惡人的心願；不要成就他們的計謀，恐怕他們自高。（細拉）至於那些昂首圍困我的人，願他們嘴唇的奸惡陷害自己！

他們上來遍滿了全地，圍住聖徒的營與蒙愛的城，就有火從天降下，燒滅了他們。
