大卫就对耶路撒冷跟随他的臣仆说：“我们要起来逃走，不然都不能躲避押沙龙了；要速速地去，恐怕他忽然来到，加害于我们，用刀杀尽合城的人。”

他们环绕我，围困我，我靠耶和华的名必剿灭他们。他们如同蜂子围绕我，好像烧荆棘的火，必被熄灭；我靠耶和华的名，必剿灭他们。你推我，要叫我跌倒，但耶和华帮助了我。

于是米甲将大卫从窗户里缒下去，大卫就逃走，躲避了。

他们走后，二人从井里上来，去告诉大卫王说：“亚希多弗如此如此定计害你，你们务要起来，快快过河。”于是大卫和跟随他的人都起来，过约旦河。到了天亮，无一人不过约旦河的。

有许多公牛围绕我，巴珊大力的公牛四面困住我。

他们围困了我们的脚步；他们瞪着眼，要把我们推倒在地。

耶和华啊，求你拯救我脱离凶恶的人，保护我脱离强暴的人！他们心中图谋奸恶，常常聚集要争战。他们使舌头尖利如蛇，嘴里有虺蛇的毒气。细拉耶和华啊，求你拯救我脱离恶人的手，保护我脱离强暴的人！他们图谋推我跌倒。骄傲人为我暗设网罗和绳索；他们在路旁铺下网，设下圈套。细拉我曾对耶和华说：你是我的神。耶和华啊，求你留心听我恳求的声音！主耶和华、我救恩的力量啊，在争战的日子，你遮蔽了我的头。耶和华啊，求你不要遂恶人的心愿；不要成就他们的计谋，恐怕他们自高。细拉至于那些昂首围困我的人，愿他们嘴唇的奸恶陷害自己！

他们上来遍满了全地，围住圣徒的营与蒙爱的城，就有火从天降下，烧灭了他们。
