米甲從窗口把大衛縋下去，大衛就離開那裡，逃走脫身了。

那些僕人走了之後，二人從井裡上來，去向大衛王報信，對大衛說：「你要迅速起身過河，因為亞希多弗已經如此建議對付你們。」於是大衛和所有跟隨他的人起身過約旦河，早晨天亮之前沒有剩下一個還沒有過約旦河的。

許多公牛圍繞我，巴珊的壯牛圍困我。

他們跟蹤了我們，現在把我們圍困了；他們瞪著眼睛，要把我們推倒在地。

耶和華啊，求你搭救我脫離惡人，守護我脫離殘暴的人，他們心裡謀算惡事，每天都要挑起爭戰。他們使自己的舌頭尖銳如蛇，他們的嘴唇下有蝮蛇的毒液。細拉耶和華啊，求你保守我脫離惡人的手，守護我脫離殘暴的人，他們謀算要推倒我。傲慢者為我暗設網羅和繩索，他們在路旁張開網，為我設下陷阱。細拉我對耶和華說：「你是我的神。」耶和華啊，求你傾聽我懇求的聲音！主耶和華，我救恩的力量啊，在爭戰的日子裡，你遮護了我的頭！耶和華啊，求你不容惡人的願望實現，不讓他們的謀劃成功，免得他們高舉自己！細拉至於那些圍困我的人，願他們嘴唇的禍患遮蓋自己的頭；

他們上來布滿了寬闊的大地，包圍了聖徒的營地，就是那蒙愛的城。可是有火從天上降下來，吞滅了他們。
