为了杀人流血，他们的脚步飞快，在经过的路上留下毁灭和悲惨。

约柜停住的时候，他就说：“耶和华啊，求你归来，回到以色列的千万人中。”

伯利恒以法他啊！你在犹大诸城中虽然细小（“伯利恒……细小”有古卷作“以法他家啊，你在犹大诸族中虽然细小”），必有一位从你那里出来，为我作以色列的统治者；他的根源从太初，从亘古就有了。（本节在《马索拉文本》为5:1）

我指着永活的耶和华你的神起誓，没有一邦一国我主人不派人去找你的，人们若是说你不在那里，他就要那国邦起誓说实在找不到你。

过两天，就是逾越节和除酵节了，祭司长和经学家设法怎样用诡计逮捕耶稣，把他杀害。他们说：“不可在节期下手，免得引起民众暴动。”

出卖耶稣的犹大也知道那地方，因为耶稣和门徒常常在那里聚集。那时，犹大带着一队兵，还有祭司长和法利赛人的差役，拿着灯笼、火把、武器，来到园子里。

因为他们的脚奔向邪恶，他们急于流人的血。

因此，我建议把以色列众人，从但到别是巴，都聚集到你这里来，好像海边的沙那样多，然后你亲自率领他们上战场。无论我们在哪一个地方找到大卫，就攻击他；我们临到他，像露水降在地上一样。这样，他和跟随他的人，就一个也不会留下。如果他退入城里去，以色列众人就要带绳子到那城去，我们要把那城拉到河里去，使那里连一块小石头也找不到。”

十二门徒中的一个，就是加略人犹大，去见祭司长，要把耶稣交给他们。他们听见了就很欢喜，答应给他银子。于是犹大就找机会出卖耶稣。
