任何智慧、聪明、谋略都不能敌挡耶和华。

因为他们不行恶，就不能入睡；不使人跌倒，就要失眠。

既是这样，我们对这一切还有什么话说呢？神若这样为我们，谁能敌对我们呢？

大卫心里说：“总有一天，我会死在扫罗的手里，我倒不如逃奔到非利士人的国土，扫罗对我就会死心，不再在以色列全境寻索我，我就可以逃脱他的手了。”

恶人窥伺义人，想要杀死他。耶和华必不把他撇弃在恶人的手中，在审判的时候，也不定他的罪。

有人告诉扫罗，大卫到了基伊拉，扫罗就说：“神把他交在我的手中了，因为他进了一座有门有闩的城，把自己关闭起来了。”

因为他们的脚奔向邪恶，他们急于流人的血。

更吩咐王子耶拉篾、亚次列的儿子西莱雅和亚伯叠的儿子示利米雅，去捉拿文士巴录和耶利米先知；但耶和华把他们隐藏起来。

我投靠耶和华，你们怎么对我说：“你要像飞鸟逃到你的山上去。（本节在《马索拉文本》包括细字标题）看哪！恶人的弓已经拉开，箭已经上弦，要从暗处射那心里正直的人。根基既然毁坏，义人还能作什么呢？”

然而主站在我旁边，加给我力量，使福音的信息藉着我尽都传开，万国的人都可以听见；他并且把我从狮子口中救出来。主必救我脱离一切邪恶的事，也必救我进入他天上的国。愿荣耀归给他，直到永永远远。阿们。
