任何智慧、悟性和谋略，都不能对抗耶和华。

因为他们不作恶就无法入睡，不绊倒人就无法安眠；

对于这些事，我们还可以说什么呢？上帝若帮助我们，谁能与我们对抗？

大卫心里想：“终有一天，我会死在扫罗手里，我最好逃到非利士人那里。这样，扫罗就不会在以色列到处追捕我了，我便可以逃离他的手。”

恶人窥探义人，伺机谋害。但耶和华不会让恶人得逞，也不会让义人在审判时被定罪。

扫罗得知大卫在基伊拉，就说：“这一次是上帝把他交在我手中了，因为他竟然自投网罗，进入有门有闩的城。”

因为他们奔向罪恶，急速地去杀人流血。

还命令自己的儿子耶拉篾、亚斯列的儿子西莱雅和亚伯德的儿子示利米雅去拘捕书记巴录和耶利米先知。但耶和华把他们藏了起来。

我投靠耶和华，你们怎能对我说：“要像飞鸟一样逃到山里。看啊，恶人弯弓搭箭，要暗射心地正直的人。根基若遭毁坏，义人还能做什么？”

然而主站在我身旁加给我力量，使我可以把福音清楚地传给外族人。主把我从狮子口里救了出来。主必救我脱离一切凶险，带我进入祂的天国。愿荣耀归给上帝，直到永永远远。阿们！

也知道我在安提阿、以哥念、路司得遭遇了何等的迫害和苦难。但主从这一切患难中救了我。
