三十個首領中有三個，下到亞杜蘭洞附近的磐石那裡去見大衛；非利士人的軍隊在利乏音谷安營。

我大聲向耶和華呼求，高聲向耶和華懇求。我在他面前傾吐我的苦情，在他面前陳述我的患難。我的靈在我裡面軟弱的時候，你知道我的道路。在我所行的路上，敵人暗設網羅陷害我。求你向我右邊觀看，沒有人關心我；我沒有逃難的地方，也沒有人照顧我。耶和華啊！我向你呼求；我說：“你是我的避難所，是我在活人之地的業分。求你留心聽我的呼求，因為我落到極卑微的地步；求你救我脫離逼迫我的人，因為他們比我強大。求你把我從牢獄中領出來，好讓我稱讚你的名；義人必環繞著我，因為你以厚恩待我。”

我要時常稱頌耶和華，讚美他的話必常在我口中。

原是這世界不配有的人。他們飄流無定，在曠野、山嶺、石洞和地穴棲身。

那一天大衛起來，從掃羅面前逃走，到了迦特王亞吉那裡。亞吉的臣僕對亞吉說：“這不是那地的王大衛嗎？那裡的婦女不是指著他跳舞歌唱說：‘掃羅殺死千千，大衛殺死萬萬’嗎？”大衛把這些話記在心裡，他非常怕迦特王亞吉，就在眾人面前假裝神智不健全，在他們手下裝瘋，在城門的門扇上胡亂塗寫，又讓唾沫流到鬍鬚上。亞吉就對他的臣僕說：“你們看，這個人瘋了，你們為甚麼把他帶到我這裡來呢？難道我缺少瘋子嗎？你們竟把這人帶來我面前發瘋。這人怎可以進我的家呢？”

瑪利沙的居民哪！我要再使那征服你的來到你那裡；以色列的榮耀，必去到亞杜蘭。

一個是立拿王，一個是亞杜蘭王，

收割的時候，三十個首領中有三個人下到亞杜蘭洞那裡去見大衛；有一隊非利士人在利乏音谷安營。那時大衛在山寨中，非利士人的駐軍卻在伯利恆。

看哪！耶和華離開自己的地方，他降下來，踏在地的高處。
