And the priest said, The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom thou slewest in the valley of Elah, behold, it[ is here] wrapped in a cloth behind the ephod: if thou wilt take that, take[ it]: for[ there is] no other save that here. And David said,[ There is] none like that; give it me.

祭司说：“你在以拉谷所杀的非利士人歌利亚的那刀，看哪，裹在布中，放在以弗得后边。你若要可以拿去，除此以外，再没有别的了。”大卫说：“没有什么可以跟它比的了！请你给我。”

祭司答道：“你在以拉谷杀的非利士人歌利亚的刀在这里，用布包着放在以弗得后面。如果你要就拿去吧，这里没有别的刀了。”大卫答道：“这刀再好不过了，把它给我吧。”

祭司回答：“有一把刀，是你从前在以拉谷击杀的那非利士人歌利亚的刀。这刀用布包着，放在以弗得后面，你若是要拿去自用，就拿去吧，因为这里除了这刀以外，再没有别的武器了。”大卫说：“没有比这更好的刀了，请你给我吧！”

祭司回答：“你在以拉溪谷击杀的那非利士人歌利亚的刀，看哪，用布蒙着，放在以弗得后面。如果你要拿走它，就拿走吧；除此以外，这里没有别的。”大卫说：“没有比它更好的了，把它给我吧！”

祭司說：「你在以拉谷殺非利士人歌利亞的那刀在這裏，裹在布中，放在以弗得後邊，你要就可以拿去；除此以外，再沒有別的。」大衛說：「這刀沒有可比的！求你給我。」

祭司說：「你在以拉谷所殺的非利士人歌利亞的那刀，看哪，裹在布中，放在以弗得後邊。你若要可以拿去，除此以外，再沒有別的了。」大衛說：「沒有甚麼可以跟它比的了！請你給我。」

祭司說：「你在以拉谷所殺的非利士人歌利亞的那刀，看哪，裹在布中，放在以弗得後邊。你若要可以拿去，除此以外，再沒有別的了。」大衛說：「沒有甚麼可以跟它比的了！請你給我。」

祭司答道：「你在以拉谷殺的非利士人歌利亞的刀在這裡，用布包著放在以弗得後面。如果你要就拿去吧，這裡沒有別的刀了。」大衛答道：「這刀再好不過了，把它給我吧。」

祭司回答：“有一把刀，是你從前在以拉谷擊殺的那非利士人歌利亞的刀。這刀用布包著，放在以弗得後面，你若是要拿去自用，就拿去吧，因為這裡除了這刀以外，再沒有別的武器了。”大衛說：“沒有比這更好的刀了，請你給我吧！”

祭司說：『有非利士人歌利亞、就是你在以拉谷所擊殺的、他的刀在這裏呢，用布裹着，在「神諭像」後邊；你若要拿，只管拿去；因為除此以外、在這裏就沒有別的。』大衛說：『這刀沒有一把能比得上的；你給我吧。』

祭司曰、汝昔在以拉谷、殺非利士人坷利亞、其刃在此、裹以布、置公服後、其外無他、爾欲取之可也。大闢曰、此刃無可比儗、請以給我。

祭司曰、爾昔在以拉谷所殺非利士人歌利亞、其刀在此、裹以布、置於以弗得後、如欲取之則可取、在此、舍此無他、大衛曰、此刀無可比擬、求以給我、

The priest replied,“ The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom you killed in the Valley of Elah, is here; it is wrapped in a cloth behind the ephod. If you want it, take it; there is no sword here but that one.” David said,“ There is none like it; give it to me.”

The priest replied,“ The sword of Goliath, the Philistine, is here. You killed him in the Valley of Elah. His sword is wrapped in a cloth. It’s behind the sacred linen apron. If you want it, take it. It’s the only sword here.” David said,“ There isn’t any sword like it. Give it to me.”

And the priest said,“ The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom you struck down in the Valley of Elah, behold, it is here wrapped in a cloth behind the ephod. If you will take that, take it, for there is none but that here.” And David said,“ There is none like that; give it to me.”

“ I only have the sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom you killed in the valley of Elah,” the priest replied.“ It is wrapped in a cloth behind the ephod. Take that if you want it, for there is nothing else here.”“ There is nothing like it!” David replied.“ Give it to me!”

The priest replied,“ The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom you killed in the Valley of Elah, is here, wrapped in a cloth behind the ephod. If you want to take it for yourself, then take it, for there isn’t another one here.”“ There’s none like it!” David said.“ Give it to me.”

Then the priest said,“ The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom you killed in the Valley of Elah, behold, it is wrapped in a cloth behind the ephod; if you would take it for yourself, take it. For there is no other except it here.” And David said,“ There is none like it; give it to me.”

So the priest said,“ The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom you killed in the Valley of Elah, there it is, wrapped in a cloth behind the ephod. If you will take that, take it. For there is no other except that one here.” And David said,“ There is none like it; give it to me.”

The priest replied,“ The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom you killed in the Valley of Elah, is here, wrapped in a cloth behind the ephod. If you want to take it for yourself, then take it, for there isn’t another one here.”“ There’s none like it!” David said.“ Give it to me.”

The priest replied,“ The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom you struck down in the valley of Elah, is wrapped in a garment behind the ephod. If you wish, take it for yourself. Other than that, there’s nothing here.” David said,“ There’s nothing like it! Give it to me!”

The priest said,“ Behold, the sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom you killed in the valley of Elah, is here wrapped in a cloth behind the ephod. If you would like to take that, take it; for there is no other except that here.” David said,“ There is none like that. Give it to me.”

And Saul and the men of Israel were gathered together, and pitched by the valley of Elah, and set the battle in array against the Philistines.

And they put his armour in the house of Ashtaroth: and they fastened his body to the wall of Bethshan.

And they shall make the ephod[ of] gold,[ of] blue, and[ of] purple,[ of] scarlet, and fine twined linen, with cunning work.It shall have the two shoulderpieces thereof joined at the two edges thereof; and[ so] it shall be joined together.And the curious girdle of the ephod, which[ is] upon it, shall be of the same, according to the work thereof;[ even of] gold,[ of] blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.And thou shalt take two onyx stones, and grave on them the names of the children of Israel:Six of their names on one stone, and[ the other] six names of the rest on the other stone, according to their birth.With the work of an engraver in stone,[ like] the engravings of a signet, shalt thou engrave the two stones with the names of the children of Israel: thou shalt make them to be set in ouches of gold.And thou shalt put the two stones upon the shoulders of the ephod[ for] stones of memorial unto the children of Israel: and Aaron shall bear their names before the LORD upon his two shoulders for a memorial.And thou shalt make ouches[ of] gold;And two chains[ of] pure gold at the ends;[ of] wreathen work shalt thou make them, and fasten the wreathen chains to the ouches.

So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but[ there was] no sword in the hand of David.Therefore David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith. And when the Philistines saw their champion was dead, they fled.And the men of Israel and of Judah arose, and shouted, and pursued the Philistines, until thou come to the valley, and to the gates of Ekron. And the wounded of the Philistines fell down by the way to Shaaraim, even unto Gath, and unto Ekron.And the children of Israel returned from chasing after the Philistines, and they spoiled their tents.And David took the head of the Philistine, and brought it to Jerusalem; but he put his armour in his tent.
