The priest replied to David,“ I don’t have any ordinary bread at my disposal. Only holy bread is available, and then only if your soldiers have abstained from sexual relations with women.”

祭司对大卫说：“我手下没有寻常的饼，只有圣饼；若少年人没有亲近妇人才可以给。”

祭司对大卫说：“我手中没有普通的饼，只有圣饼，只能给没有亲近妇人的年轻人。”

祭司对大卫说：“我手中没有普通的饼，只有圣饼，只能给没有亲近妇人的年轻人。”

祭司答道：“我们没有普通的饼，只有圣饼，如果你的部下没有亲近过女色，就可以吃。”

祭司回答大卫：“我手中没有普通的饼，只有圣饼。只有那些没有亲近过女人的年轻人，才可以吃的。”

祭司回答大卫说：“我手中没有普通的饼，只有圣饼。如果那些年轻人谨守自己，确实没有亲近女人，就可以给。”

祭司對大衛說：「我手下沒有尋常的餅，只有聖餅；若少年人沒有親近婦人才可以給。」

祭司對大衛說：「我手中沒有普通的餅，只有聖餅，只能給沒有親近婦人的年輕人。」

祭司對大衛說：「我手中沒有普通的餅，只有聖餅，只能給沒有親近婦人的年輕人。」

祭司答道：「我們沒有普通的餅，只有聖餅，如果你的部下沒有親近過女色，就可以吃。」

祭司回答大衛：“我手中沒有普通的餅，只有聖餅。只有那些沒有親近過女人的年輕人，才可以吃的。”

祭司回答大衛說：『我手下沒有平常的餅，只有聖餅；只要青年人已經自守沒有親近婦人就可以拿。』

祭司回答大衛說：「我手中沒有普通的餅，只有聖餅。如果那些年輕人謹守自己，確實沒有親近女人，就可以給。」

祭司曰、我手中無常餅、聖餅則有之、惟僕從不近婦女、乃可給焉、

祭司對曰、常餅未有、聖餅有之、如少者近不御婦女、則可給焉。

祭司對大衛曰、我手無常餅、惟有聖餅、如僕從未近婦方可給、

But the priest answered David,“ I don’t have any ordinary bread on hand; however, there is some consecrated bread here— provided the men have kept themselves from women.”

But the priest answered David,“ I don’t have any bread that isn’t holy. I only have some holy bread here. But it’s for men who haven’t slept with women recently.”

And the priest answered David,“ I have no common bread on hand, but there is holy bread— if the young men have kept themselves from women.”

“ We don’t have any regular bread,” the priest replied.“ But there is the holy bread, which you can have if your young men have not slept with any women recently.”

The priest told him,“ There is no ordinary bread on hand. However, there is consecrated bread, but the young men may eat it only if they have kept themselves from women.”

The priest answered David and said,“ There is no ordinary bread on hand, but there is consecrated bread, if only the young men have kept themselves from women.”

And the priest answered David and said,“ There is no common bread on hand; but there is holy bread, if the young men have at least kept themselves from women.”

And the priest answered David, and said, There is no common bread under my hand, but there is holy bread; if only the young men have kept themselves from women.

The priest told him,“ There is no ordinary bread on hand. However, there is consecrated bread, but the young men may eat it only if they have kept themselves from women.”

And the priest answered David, and said,[ There is] no common bread under mine hand, but there is hallowed bread; if the young men have kept themselves at least from women.

The priest answered David, and said,“ I have no common bread, but there is holy bread; if only the young men have kept themselves from women.”

He said to the people,“ Be ready for the third day. Do not go near your wives.”

You are to set the Bread of the Presence on the table before me continually.

He said to them,“ Haven’t you read what David did when he and his companions were hungry–how he entered the house of God and they ate the sacred bread, which was against the law for him or his companions to eat, but only for the priests?

“ You must take choice wheat flour and bake twelve loaves; there must be two tenths of an ephah of flour in each loaf,and you must set them in two rows, six in a row, on the ceremonially pure table before the LORD.You must put pure frankincense on each row, and it will become a memorial portion for the bread, a gift to the LORD.Each Sabbath day Aaron must arrange it before the LORD continually; this portion is from the Israelites as a perpetual covenant.It will belong to Aaron and his sons, and they must eat it in a holy place because it is most holy to him, a perpetual allotted portion from the gifts of the LORD.”

So the priest gave him holy bread, for there was no bread there other than the bread of the Presence. It had been removed from before the LORD in order to replace it with hot bread on the day it had been taken away.

Do not deprive each other, except by mutual agreement for a specified time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then resume your relationship, so that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of self- control.

by asking both the priests of the temple of the LORD WHO RULES OVER ALL and the prophets,“ Should we weep in the fifth month, fasting as we have done over the years?”
