亞比該看見大衛，就急忙下驢，在大衛面前臉伏於地叩拜。

拉班聽見外甥雅各的消息，就跑去迎接他，抱着他，親他，帶他到自己的家。雅各把這一切的事告訴拉班。

於是眾百姓過了約旦河，王也過去了。王親吻巴西萊，為他祝福，巴西萊就回自己的地方去了。

雅各親了拉結，就放聲大哭。

他又親眾兄弟，伏着他們哭。過後，他的兄弟就和他說話。
